How did we get 23 posts deep in this thread without anybody mentioning bacon and cheese?

That's for burgers. And no, there's no way anyone should even entertain the thought of P, B or J on a burger. Thank you.

I've had really good ground meat with jelly in it (Swedish Meatballs) and I've also had a burger with Thai peanut sauce on it.

I would not be at all surprised to find that a PB&J burger done right was delicious.

In fact, I'm going to make one as a project and see if I can get the thumbs up from the nephews. I'll probably use Swedish meatballs repurposed for the meat and add a spicy Thai peanut sauce to start with. If that goes over well the next round will be peanut butter with a little hot sauce to spice it up.

The only thing I do better now than I did 30 years ago is cook.

Was about to mention that about Swedish meatballs, I never heard of any self respecting blockhead making them with jelly. Was going to go into my grandma's recipe but didn't want to Stokes this thread.
