Trump claims media is covering up terror attacks, citing no evidence

President Trump on Monday said that news outlets are covering up terrorist attacks without citing any evidence that supports that claim.
He made the comment in a speech to U.S. servicemembers at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida after receiving a briefing and eating lunch with troops.

The president began talking about how “radical Islamic terrorists are determined to strike our homeland” as they did on 9/11, in the Boston bombings and in San Bernardino. He said it’s also happening “all over Europe” like in Paris and Nice.

“It’s gotten to a point where it’s not even being reported. In many cases, the very, very dishonest press doesn’t want to report it. They have their reasons and you understand that,” Mr. Trump said.

There is no evidence that any media outlet is covering up terrorist attacks.

This comes after his adviser, Kellyanne Conway, alluded to the “Bowling Green Massacre,” which never happened, in an effort to defend the administration’s travel ban, but the event never happened. She later claimed that she misspoke and meant “Bowling Green terrorists” but Cosmopolitan said Monday that Conway had also referred to the fake massacre in an interview with one of its reporters.

Looks like Trump is taking right after Putin with the misinformation campaign.

Remember when people thought Obama sucked at Foreign Policy?

How's that working with our closest allies giving Trump the middle finger these days?

Forget about his supporters, look at Baby Trump himself. His tweets are pathetic.

I read them for a good laugh everyday. Calling him a baby is just like telling someone the sky is blue.

I was raised in the only county in MA that Trump won. It's weird seeing grown ass red necks go on the offensive because you said something about him, his policies, his advisors, hell even Fox news.

Thanks to whoever posted the article about Trump giving up on the Pats at half time and leaving his SB event.. I will have a little fun with that.

Funny how you don't have a clue. SNL, for the most part, has not been funny for years, my eyes, ears and TV ratings tell me so. You somehow equate that to me being a Trump backer, brilliant.

To each his own, personally the days of Aykroyd, Belushi, Morris, Newman, Chase, Murray, Murphy blows away anything they put out today, even the Farley and Sandler years are heads and tails above today's output. Of course just my opinion but I think SNL has been unwatchable for years.

Actually, the Political Satire SNL is doing these days is the only thing that is keeping that show relevant. Every now and then they get a musical act that is worth listening to but for the most part, the material provided by Kellyanne, Spicer and Trump himself is comedy gold and SNL is making the most of it. Trump not only is propping up Faux News, inadvertently he's also propping up SNL. Especially with his habit of tweeting after every Baldwin episode. Seems to me the "snowflake" label has been misapplied to liberals as it appears only Conservatives are the ones doing the bitching about a TV comedy skit and their POTUS not getting the respect they feel he deserves.

BTW, respect is earned, not given and sadly and that orange tinged idiot hasn't earned anything but scorn so far. Maybe he wakes up, maybe not but he certainly seems to have an extreme immature streak. An emotionally immature POTUS is a very dangerous one. He might try to take a few nights off from tweeting and put a smile on Melania's face. Might put one on his face too the next morning..Thought they made lil blue pills for that sorta thing these days...

Labor nominee Puzder admits to employing a housekeeper who was in the U.S. illegally

"Andy Puzder, President Trump’s nominee for Labor secretary, admitted to employing
a housekeeper who was an immigrant in the U.S. illegally, raising another potential
problem for his confirmation amid Democratic criticism of his treatment of workers.

“My wife and I employed a housekeeper for a few years, during which I was unaware
that she was not legally permitted to work in the U.S.,” Puzder said in a written
    statement provided by a spokesman."

I've had enough of these clowns. Impeachment is overdue.

    Got that right, totally clueless.

I am considering you a Trump backer, and I am doing it with no knowledge of who you are and not reading anymore than the one post I have ever read from you.

    Have a great day sport.

The Vice President breaks a tie today so we can have an education secretary that doesn't understand basic tenets of the education profession. Sounds like we are on the right track

It was Democrats who lowered the number of votes necessary for confirmation during the Obama administration. You mean to tell me they failed to anticipate the consequences?

Democrats failed to anticipate a lot of things. This is just another notch on the belt.
