Fan vote knocked him out of the starting unit. Guess I'm not the only one that thinks he's a douche. He'll be named to the second unit next week no doubt.
Fan voting is absolute trash. Look at how many votes Zaza Pachulia got, he was in the top 10 I think.
that was some BS last night in the Knicks game. Washington assistant coach plays help defense on the final possession? wonder if something will come out of that
^ I'd love to say I've never seen anything as bad as that but I'm never surprised with NBA refs anymore. They're always trying to outdo past incompetence.
I was watching that game and even though I'm a Nets fan the Knicks got screwed. How does that coach or the franchise not get a hefty fine and a couple games suspension? Not to mention the referees getting a harsh review. Terrrrible. As byz said though, the NBA has about the worst officials in professional sports. They seem pretty content on allowing clowns to clown their way through the regular season with missed calls. Then again it's a three or four team race max every year so what the hell do they really care. In other news my hopeless franchise scored 143 points tonight. If we're lucky we might be able to compete by 2023 when the Celics are done feasting on our draft picks.
It should've been a double technical ejection on the bench. Knicks with 4 shots and the ball. A silly fine doesn't send a message but the coach losing the game for nonsense like that might
Yeah but unfortunately they didn't do that and they won't rescind a game because of that so a fine and suspension will have to do.
James Harden becomes the first player ever with multiple 50 point triple-doubles in a season after posting 51/13/13 tonight on 57% from the field and 54% from 3P range. I believe he just tied Oscar Robertson for the most 40 point triple doubles in a single season as well. He also posted the first ever 50/15/15 game earlier this year with 53/17/16 against the wonderful New York Knickerbocker's. It's really unbelievable what he and Westbrook are doing. I forget what the stat was but I believe he scores or assists on 50+% of the Rockets points.
They'll both be first or second round exits and prove that this season's stat-chasing heroics don't win championships.
Or that you truly can't win a championship without a second superstar. The only guys who have really ever done it since post 1970ish are Dirk, Hakeem, and Bill Walton.
Right. It seems like Byz is almost blaming them for doing so well. What should they do? Not try so hard? Take some rest games? Their teams need them, and they're doing everything they can to get the best seed possible. Not every team has a hall of fame coach and a complete starting 5.
Obviously I have no problem with players trying their hardest to help their team win. I just think it's funny when players chase triple doubles every game and then deny they were chasing triple doubles.
Hey, it's a league that has been fashioned into an ego contest, not everyone has to like it. I just happen to dislike one of the loudest and douchiest egos in the league more than most because he plays for a division rival. It's no wonder that it bothers you.
Curry taking a page out of LeBron's book. Curry was questionable yesterday with a sore hamstring or something. He decided to play. GS was up 40 on the Clippers in the second half. Curry should rest the injury, right? Nope, he stayed in to run up the score (as LeBron is fond of doing). Curry then missed today's game. He allegedly has the flu but this is such crap. Total LeBron stunt to run up the score in garbage time and then take the next game off.
Is that news? The NBA is chock full of showboating d-bags. And as bad as Kingbron and Curry are, there are far worse examples. Is it that you don't like those two in particular, or it is that they cost you money gambling? Don't answer that. I already know.
