Add in the fact that he's got the same hairdo as Grandpa Munster only adds to his value...

    What happened to Clint Hurtt?

Could be a good signing. He did coach Clay Matthews for a while? That's about all I got outside of him being a great player.

I wonder if we're going to try to make some moves and hire some offensive coaches and a coordinator or if we're just going to go into the season without one and let them figure it out themselves.

Draw the plays up in the dirt style.

If anything, I hope Jets D start dialing up some Dog one CRUSH. [Yes - that's the OLB blitz call.]

I like it. He's Hall of Fame which brings instant credibility to the coaching staff. I watched the video posted above and he's a freak! Always amped up and getting his guys amped up too. With our young OLBers he will be fun to watch. I already want the season to start!!!!

    Cant Wait!!!!

Just a thought. Greene coached Nick Perry in Green Bay. Wonder if the Jets tried to sign him if that connection helps. I think perry would be a great addition. Be interested to see what macganan does with free agency

I'd be wary of signing him or Melvin Ingram. Perry topped out at 4 sacks prior to his contract year this past season. He'll be 27 in April. Ingram was a bit more consistent with 10.5 sacks in 2015 and 8.0 sacks this past season. He'll be 28 in April.

They both wreak of a Calvin Pace signing that I alluded to in another thread. A quality player that will likely be overpaid for his pass rushing output and Calvin Pace was miraculously productive into his mid 30's. If we're going to target defensive ends or outside linebackers in free agency they need to be absolutely stellar pass rushers. Neither for that bill.

I'd rather stand pat with both Jordan Jenkins and Mauldin as at least Jenkins looks like he'll give us the same sack output either of those players will while being a young player on his rookie deal. He has a much higher upside and maybe a crappier downside but still. He really came on at the end of the year.

agree with this. pass rushers are a lot like qbs in that the really good ones hardly hit f.a. and the ones that do get paid more than they are worth.

Greene might milk productive play out of our OLB's. At least they will be motivated by him to play, or they will want to go to another team to get away from him.
