I doubt Quinn and Kyle Shanahan would have committed themselves to Ryan Fitzpatrick. The record isn't even the main reason why I want Bowles gone. He's just incompetent in nearly every facet. I do find it funny that some posters here , said that the Jets wouldn't have hired a quality HC had they fired Bowles, when the Niners who have fired 3 coaches in the span of three years(including two one year coaches) are about to hire the top candidate in Shanahan.
I've akways found it unhealthy to view decisions made with the benifit of hindsight. These what if scenarios, though fun to occasionally think about, can really fuck with your sense of regret.
Vastly different environments inherited by the two. They have Matt Ryan and we had Ryan Fitzpatrick. They have DeVonta Freeman and we have a 31 year old Matt Forte. Etc, Etc.
At least Quinn shows fire on the sideline. Fcking Bowles would rather eat two gummy bears together so they don't die alone.
Bowles didn't inherit Fitz, he inherted Geno. It was only after he hired Gailey that they traded for Fitzpatrick.
The whole thing was fucked. Did Chan think he was gunna come in and win a superbowl with shitz?. Why even bother coming back for 2 years just so you can get everyone used to your system then leave lol. And Bowles is a fucking moron for bringing him in cause it was pretty obvious Chan had no want or motivation to try and work with hack and petty
Quinn would definitely be the coach if they were willing to wait another week...but we still wouldn't have made the playoffs but we would have won more games.
Maybe not. Maybe the defense would have been playing better and more consistently. Maybe all the D players would have been playing at the right positions. Maybe the team would have been prepared for the game each week. Maybe the team wouldn't have beaten itself with blown coverages, mental mistakes and sloppy play. Maybe players would have been held accountable. Maybe Revis never dogs it and Mo isn't late for meetings. (Sheldon would probably still have been Sheldon, because he's stupid). Maybe Quinn would have been able to convince Woody to forget the "Competitive Rebuild" nonsense, and go with a full rebuild beginning in 2015. Maybe our team would already be a lot better, have a lot more pieces in place, and young players developing. We'll never know, however.
this type of garbage bothers me they went 8-8 last year and did significantly better last year. I'm sure last year you had no complaints with hiring Bowles. He has the MVP and the greatest offensive coordinator in the league on his side. you need to chill out
Dom, I'm sure you have a good-intentioned point, but your point is sort of obscured by "they" and "he", so it's not really clear who the bleeding fuck you are talking about. tl;dr lol... wut?
We will, however, know that this guy can't get a point across without queen dramatics and twenty sentences minimum, and no enter key.
