I loveee this post! "Love Aho. Love Pesce and Slavin" - sooo much love! And the "Faulk yes" play on words was the icing on the cake. Awesome post nyjetsmets89!
You know what I love? When you say I'm the troll and yet you can't help yourself at ALL to one-up me every time. Awesome stuff Run along little one EDIT: No, YOU talk hockey. I play hockey.

^^This guy has nothing to offer in this thread or any other. Back on topic, my top 4 teams right now to win it all, in order, are San Jose, Pittsburgh, Washington, or Minnesota. San Jose is hungry from last year and have even more depth. Pitt is Pitt and can always turn it on, while Washington seems to be hitting their stride a bit later than last year which may help them more this year as last year they coasted. Would love to see Minnesota take it all but it's tough to trust Bruce when it matters.
Three of the top 4 odds-on favs to win the Cup according to Las Vegas this past week so way to go out on a limb. I do agree with the Bruce Boudreau "all bets are off when it comes to the playoffs" assessment so you got that part right.
Crosby messed up that line. He was off the whole time. Ovechkin and McDonough had to be annoyed. I will say that line made the All-Star game exciting though. Holtby pitching a scoreless final 10 minute period for the one goal win was cool too.
Holtby played real well,,,,,btw I dont know if you guys discussed this but I absolutely hate the 3 on 3 ! This is not hockey , its bad enough no one hits which I understand but what ever happened to old time hockey and Eddie Shaw !
my question is what happened to the Dallas Stars? Such a fall from last season. A big problem is Ruff has separated Benn and Seguin for most of the season.
The Stars fall off has been surprising, but not one thought they were as good as their record last year.
What about the isles getting the boot from Barclays arena? Talk about embarrassing, send them to Canada already.
I am sick an tired of the fact that every time there is an open puck in from of the net, the only two players who seem to be there are either a Right-Winger (Kreider), or a Defenseman (Klein). No one, and I mean NO ONE ELSE on this team is in front of the net at any time. They should have score four goals in that first period alone. There is no one on this team, including McDonough almighty, that I would not trade if it meant getting a real, first-line center in return.
They did mentioned it, they will probably sign another 30 year lease that will not be in their favor and repeat the nonsense of not being able to move after things go bad again. I would try to negotiate a 15 year lease if I were them.
