BOSTON — A Boston man described by his lawyer as a "die-hard Patriots fan" has pleaded not guilty to pulling a fire alarm that roused the visiting Pittsburgh Steelers from their hotel beds ahead of their playoff game against New England. Dennis Harrison was released on personal recognizance at his arraignment Monday on charges including disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace. "I can only infer that he thought he was helping the Patriots. But, again, as I said, a moment ago he said the Patriots are so far superior than Pittsburgh they wouldn't need this kind of help anyway," attorney Francisco Napolitano said. According to the police report, Harrison told authorities he was at a housewarming party at a friend's apartment and consumed an unknown number of alcoholic beverages. State police say Harrison told them he was dared by his friends to set off the alarm after learning on social media where the Steelers were staying for the AFC Championship game. At one point police say Harrison stated "I'm drunk, I'm stupid, I'm a Pats fan." Hotel guests were forced out into the cold just after 3 a.m. Sunday for the false alarm. Police say Harrison was found walking on the hotel property nearby. "When I first spoke to him his eyes were clouding up in tears, you know? Like, 'What have I done?'" Napolitano said. Napolitano described Harrison as a die-hard Patriots fan who considers himself as the team's most loyal fan.Harrison was released on personal recognizance and ordered to stay away from the Hilton hotel at Logan Airport. Harrison will return to court on Feb. 13.
Great thread about the Jets! Anywho, 0 craps given. This happens. It's like sending hookers to an opponent's hotel room.
No surprise here. Instead of headset communication problems, it's somebody pulls the fire alarm in the middle of the night. What a bullshit organization. Every single title they have is tainted. Why does an organization that is so good have to rely on cheating?
That's our primary rival folks. Complete cheating scum...team & fans... Do they ever experience even the slightest angst or disappointment? Nope. Maybe someday?
I ain't even mad. If the Jets ever made it to a super bowl I'd probably fly out to the super bowl city and just prank the hell out of the other team until I got arrested or beat up
