Chiefs are done...again. Feel bad for their fans. But this Steelers team can beat New England. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Calling a pass play there took a lot of guts since an incompletion stops the clock. That's it. I don't like the way Pittsburgh plays at all, but I will have no trouble rooting for them next week in Foxboro.
Alex Smith has the lowest interception percentage in history in the playoffs because he's too cautious. That's why the 49ers dumped him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
So...I was right about not buying the KC Chiefs, right about picking Rodgers over the rookies, and hilariosly wrong about the Falcons. Not a bad weekend.
Chiefs with a really lousy performance - drops, penalties, bad game management, stars not showing up, etc. Steelers should have won this more easily. They need TDs next week Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The two teams going into the playoffs on long winning streaks are in the conference championship games. Yes, coming in hot does make a difference.
Got a lot of good laughs tonight. Lowest int rate? When you do as little and play as cautiously as Smith, that's npt saying much. "Poor Alex Smith, always 'the other QB' to the Bradys and Roethlisbergers and Mannings, always waiting for a shot" ROFL gee I wonder why?? They did their best to talk him up like he's some unsung Montana.
Me too - the only one of the 8 games I've gotten wrong from my predictions on January 5 was Atlanta beating Seattle. Don't really care about next week's NFC game (I have no problem with either Green Bay or Atlanta), but I hope I'm wrong about my AFC prediction of Pats over Steelers.
Why not onside kick? Either way you have to make them go 3 and out. I guess you could say field position but I would have went for an onsides kick. Either way a first down would have ended the game and did.
This IS Andy Reid we're talking about. I bet he was worried about field position, or the possibility PIT would recover, kick a fg, and then they'd have to score a TD with a minute left and no TOs. Of course I'd have rolled the dice too, as you say, no matter what they needed a stop and a score. It didn't work out too badly for them, since they pinned them deep (and mathematically it probably wasn't that big a difference since onside kicks don't work very often), and the bottom line is they still couldn't stop them.
Well I passed out drunk at 7pm. I wanted to watch that later game, but it seems I didn't miss anything too exciting. Super excited for next week. Go Pack.
Alex Smith is what I thought he was the whole time. Game manager that can't make the throws in Jan. Another crappy AFCCG with Brady and Big Ben.
