I would rather have Richard Caster as OC

If this is true, Todd Bowles is once again putting together a bad CS, this time they will be fired at the end of next season.

Sad if true, very sad but what can we expect. We have no offensive pieces to attract a top flight oc.

Doesn't seem like a terrible idea. Might allow us to keep continuity with the offensive system and he seems to have done a decent job developing young talent in Enunwa and Anderson.

Parole Bob so he'll go away.

    Failing that, call Christopher Scarver.

The last time Dorell was an OC he used the west coast offense, not sure if that's what he is going to stick with, but from what I understand, TB wants more balance on offense, more runs and use of the TE.

I don't think they are going to continue to use Gaileys scheme, if that's the case they should have just kept Gailey and asked him to make serious adjustments to his scheme.

He has been floated out there as the top in-house candidate for the last week or so. Bob once again is either wrong or just regurgitating shit others said.

Apparently there interviewing Eric Studesville for OC. He's been with the Broncos since 2010 and is currently the RB coach.

I'm more optimistic than most on this board but if this team hires a GOD DAMN RUNNING BACK COACH I will flip.

I don't think people were kicking in TB's door for the job either. Especially not knowing Bowles' job security situation. No family man would take a chance on a one year gig as it would require a huge move. The reality is, Bowles is perceived as a shortimer. Woody's endorsement was probably the KoD. Although Woody did say the playoffs weren't a mandate, another season like this one and its over for the Todd Bowles experiment. 2017 is entirely too unstable for anyone to take a chance on working for Bowles except perhaps for a money grab.

Bowles is going to do everything he can to make sure he doesn't hire his future replacement. Can't blame him.

It sucks that we're such an undesireable situation, because I sure am sick of first year coordinators.

The only positive in this is that I think Gailey is/was a pretty good offensive coach. He's just a terrible playcaller. But I do like the system. I feel like he designed plays to easily get receivers open.

On the other hand, an OC that is confident he can get the offense to perform may figure he comes in and shows the offense can put up some points even if the D is losing the game, he might be top of the list if they jettison Bowles.

I am also completely against Studesville, only time he was an OC he was a bottom of the league in most categories, as a RB coach the only year he had the Broncos near the top of the league was when Tim Tebow and Kyle Orton were the QBs, kind of had to be running a lot then, lead the league in rush attempts.

I was thinking Wayne Chrebet. He was very cerebral. At least until his brain got turn into Spaghetti-Os.

Then he is stupider than we thought, I would try and hire the best OC I could to save my job and the rest of the staffs as well.

A successful season would guarantee a possible extension, not having a good season guarantees termination.

I also agree with your assessment of Gailey, his play design is very good, but his feel for the game was poor and it showed in his play calling, in particular his empty backfield formations on 3-1.

Rather an unknown than recycled garbage

We're not getting any top picks out there so it's either think out of the box and get lucky or promote from within

Since we're pondering coaches - why the fuck has B. Boyer not been fired yet?
