With the Cleveland Browns desperately needing a QB, I doubt Watson makes it passed #1 at this point. And if they don't give up their pick, the 49ers desperately need a QB. The Bears are looking to replace Cutler.

There's just too many QB hungry teams to take him at 6.

We are never gonna be bad enough to get a number one pick or number two pick. Every year there will be two or more teams desperately looking for a QB at 1 and 2.

We need to trade with Cleveland. Find a way and get the first pick. We will never get our QB if we don't.

Watson and Williams both made themselves some money last night.

No way Watson makes it past the Bears at #3.

Mike Williams may also end up in the top 5.

So did Reuben Foster and both team's TEs (make themselves some money) Foster could win up in the top ten if he wasn't there already.

I haven't seen much college football this season, but I did watch last night. If Mike Williams is available at #6, I would not be upset if he ended up in Green & White. That's especially true, since we should be dumping Marshall ASAP.

It wouldn't be a bad idea for Cleveland to take Watson at 1 and move up to take Williams at 5 or 6.

Interesting thought. 12+33 for 6? I think Cleveland has too many needs to give that up for a WR. I can see them doing something like that if they go with Garrett #1 & Watson or Trubinsky is available at #6, figuring NYJ, SD, BUF & NO could all potentially look for their QB of the future.

Seems like every poor year the jets have there is that one game that slides them a bit lower in the pecking order, thus giving up some position leverage and possibly some opportunity.

Mike Williams should go to TN, they could go with him or Adams. If Watson gets selected at the top, Jets could get a really good player at 6. Foster, would be a great selection, he played great last night. Then you got 2 impact safeties. This might be the best safety draft in a long time.

Jets got a great shot at Trubisky, but I'm not sold on him at all.

Jets will get a good player. Really hope it's a skill position tho. When's the last time we drafted a WR or RB first? Also when's the last time we've been good?

I agree. We should get a really good player with our #1 pick, and hopefully, this year breaks the trend with our 2nd round pick!!!

CBS' NFLDRAFTSCOUT.COM has this as their top 10 players:
    1. Jonathan Allen, DE, Alabama
    2. Myles Garrett, DE, Texas A&M
    3. Malik Hooker, FS, Ohio St.
    4. Dalvin Cook, RB, FSU
    5. Solomon Thomas, DE, Stanford
    6. Jamal Adams, SS, LSU
    7. Mike Williams, WR, Clemson
    8. Teez Tabor, CB, Florida
    9. Leonard Fournette, RB, LSU
    10. Reuben Foster, ILB, Alabama

ESPN's Scout.com has this as their top 10 players:
    1. Leonard Fournette, RB, LSU
    2. Myles Garrett, DE, Texas A&M
    3. Jonathan Allen, DE, Alabama
    4. Jabril Peppers, SS, Michigan
    5. Reuben Foster, ILB, Alabama
    6. Jamal Adams, S, LSU
    7. Dalvin Cook, RB, FSU
    8. M Lattimore, CB, Ohio St.
    9. Tim Williams, OLB, Alabama
    10. Malik McDowell, DT, Michigan St.

The Great Blue North has the following as their top 10 players:
    1. Myles Garrett, DE, Texas A&M
    2. Jonathan Allen, DE, Alabama
    3. Leonard Fournette, RB, LSU
    4. Marlon Humphrey, CB, Alabama
    5. Jabril Peppers, SS, Michigan
    6. Teez Tabor, CB, Florida
    7. Jamal Adams, SS, LSU
    8. Dalvin Cook, RB, FSU
    9. Reuben Foster, ILB, Alabama
    10. Mike Williams, WR, Clemson

I don't have insider rights to get Kiper's or McShay's top 10. If someone could post them, I'd appreciate it.

Things will undoubtedly change before the draft, but as you can see, there aren't any QBs listed in the top 10. I'll be surprised if at least 1-2 of them (Watson and Trubisky) don't zoom up the draft charts with so many teams needing QBs.

Those who want an offensive player chosen with the 1st round pick are probably going to be ticked. As of right now, the only 3 possibilities are Dalvin Cook, Leonard Fournette and Mike Williams, none of whom is a HUGE need. Conversely, pass-rushing OLB, FS and CB are all huge needs and with Bowles being a former DC, I expect the #1 pick to be used on one of those positions. Derek Barnett isn't listed in any of the top 10 lists, but several posters here think he may be better than Garrett. He could zoom up the rankings. Similarly, Budda Baker isn't listed in the top 10 either, but Ourlads and several posters here think he's better than Hooker or Adams. Reuben Foster could enable the Jets to let David Harris go, and I think he will be a star. Adding a Foster, Barnett, Garrett, Adams, Hooker, or Baker could go a LONG way in dramatically changing our D. Then again with Bowles and Rodgers in charge of the D, maybe not.

thats a pretty impressive top 10 list......this draft is going to be deep in several positions (minus QB and franchise LT) so no excuse for the jets not to continue building the LB unit and replacing at least 2/4ths of the secondary.

watching the steelers reminded me - they picked 3 LB's (dupree, shazier, jones) in the first round over the course of 4 years i think and those guys are really starting to carry that D now.

Yes, I can just hear Woody telling Mac and Bowles, "I'm keeping you guys to insure we have a lousy season next year so we can draft Darnold." With their jobs on the line, it's not likely they're going into next season with Petty and/or Hackenberg as QBs unless they're looking to retire early. Either they will sign or trade for a vet or draft a QB they can convince Woody is the real deal. Either way, they won't be tanking.
