Dallas Seattle Pitt New England If KC wins , New England walks into super bowl. No faith in KC winning in New England. But Pitt is going to have a tough time winning in KC; one of the tougher places to play.
Can the four home teams sweep again? I find it hard to pick against any of them. All better and all with HFA, of course.
I picked 3 home teams this week (stayed away from Hou game), and pleasantly won all 3 as they covered. next week I'm not as confident. if the away teams (again staying away from Hou) are getting decent pts, I may lean towards picking away teams...especially GB.
I'm going with Green Bay for the upset. I love Dak, but Rodgers is unstoppable right now. Should just throw a hail mary every play. They'd never lose. Atlanta cause screw the Seahawks. (Seattle definitely wins) Pittsburgh beats KC because KC isn't good. New England because they have to beat the best team in a division of four shitty teams.
The only team that doesn't have a chance is Houston. The other three games should be competitive that could go either way. Falcons ,Pats, Steelers and Cowboys are my picks.
I'll stick with my original predictions: GB, SEA, PIT, plus the assholes with the 2nd bye week. I don't trust the Falcons, I don't trust KC, and again, I'll take Rodgers over the rookies. A road sweep would be nice, but the Texans are shit.
Home and Favorites for me ,,,actually just favorites going forward imo although they will be all close games KC Dallas Atl
Pass Offense - Below Average Rushing Offense - Average Pass Defense - Average Rushing Defense - Above Average The only thing they have going for them is causing turnovers. And while that's huge during the regular season, it's so hit-or-miss in the post-season. Look at Oakland. They are a good example of what happens when the only thing left going for your team is forcing turnovers. Couldn't force any, couldn't make up for that with their lethargic offense. To go all the way, you need to be GOOD on both sides of the ball. KC had such a weak schedule, they've gotten away with it until now. They are going to be exposed for the mediocrity they are now.
I think this is a case where several of these stats are misleading, and as a collective whole, they fail to tell the whole story. I have watched KC a bunch this season. They are very well coached. They have a good pass rush that comes on strong late in games. They have a consistently good running game. They have a quarterback who doesn't turn the ball over. They have an opportunistic secondary. They are formidable on special teams. They are a good football team that would be a tough out for anyone in the league, especially in Kansas City, which happens to traditionally be one of the toughest places to play in the NFL.
if they finally have Justin Houston healthy again too, that could give them a huge push this postseason. all that said, Pitt will be a tough matchup. that's the game of the week imo.
They are very efficient but they don't have what it takes to go against a high caliber, juggernaut offense like Pittsburgh.
Big Ben's not exactly a QB that plays well when injured... he's usually horrible in fact when limited. I also think KC's pass rush/ DC are good enough to generate enough pass rush to make this a game.
Hoping for the biggest upset in playoff history since the Seahawks beat the Saints that day Beast mode went off. Go Houston!
