2-14/ Next year, bank on it. How can your defense underperform the way it did this year and Rodgers still keep his job? Could the players have executed better? maybe they saw something on film that showed players playing out of position or making wrong defensive calls. I don't see anything with this staff that gives me any hope for next year.
No one here seriously thought Bowles would fire his buddy Rodgers now didya? They're a set. If the defense takes another shit next year, it won't really matter as Bowles and his buddy will be taking a road trip.
Jets just announced coaching changes ----- Gailey "retired" QB coach Kevin Patullo, running backs coach Marcel Shipp, Dline coach Pepper Johnson, Outside Linebackers coach Mark Collins and defensive back coach Joe Danna all gone.
Sounds like they finally cleaned out the attic! Now lets see them clean out the roster too. What about the OLine coach????
OMG, Woddy should have just canned TB, this team is starting from scratch, did the water boy get fired too?
Lol, I'm wondering why Kevin Patullo was axed. Wondering if it has to do with Hackenberg or Petty progression. Also Mike Garafolo just tweeted that the Jets have a few names in mind for OC and that one of them is Eagles QB coach John DeFilippo
"Jets OC Informed Bowles of His Decision Prior to the 2016 Campaign" Right, and he's also the Easter Bunny. http://www.newyorkjets.com/news/art...244e1-068d-4626-8361-3df17cf659ce?campaign=fb
Nope, that quote came from an anonymous source within the Jets organization. It's anyways guess who that could be
If that was the case, why was Bowles being so coy when talking about Master Chan. I think this was a face saving move for Gailey moreso than anything else.
Exactly. The fact that Rodgers is still there speaks volumes. Really interested in seeing who wants to come here and be the OC for a coach that is possibly on last leg.
How can you fire the entire Defensive staff, yet keep Rodgers who is the head of it all? AND keep Bowles who is a defensive minded Head Coach? Makes no sense. Rodgers is so bad. Drives me nuts.
That's an easy one rocky. An OC that has ambition and wants to become an HC. Bowles is already on the hot seat and the draft isn't even here yet. It will take a miracle for Bowles to be here in 2018 so knowing that, I think the next OC might be a former HC (if we're lucky) or an accomplished OC that wants the big chair. Bowles is a shortimer even if he doesn't realize it.
