What's been amazing is that he's got a catch percentage of 92.9%. Which isn't a small sample size considering the fact that his 13 receptions rank 2nd amongst 2014's rookie WR class behind only Jarvis Landry and tied with Kelvin Benjamin for catches. None of those kids drafted back in 2014 have anything close to a catch percentage of 92.9% thus far through two games.

I'm pretty confident that being surrounded by proven pass catching options in Brandon Marshall, Eric Decker & Matt Forte are opening up the field for Enunwa and Enunwa himself is benefiting from the talent surrounding him but he's without question emerging into a deadly role playing X-Factor in which opposing defenses can not stop.

I'm not sure if he'll be able to replace and fill the shoes of a Brandon Marshall just yet but as of right now he looks to be a serious mismatch for opposing defenses in regards to the role in which he's been asked to play.

He's emerging onto the scene without question.

Intereresting factoid: Our 2016 3rd round pick Jordan Jenkins made the tackle that set Nebraska back to the 1 yard line, 1 play earlier:

His catches in the first half on the weekend were crucial, and I thought really set us up to win.

Amaro was cut because he wasn't good enough. Had nothing to do with enunwa. If we would have showed the skill that made him a 2nd rd pick he would still be here

Yea but if Enunwa wasnt on the roster it wouldnt have been so easy to give up on Amaro.Enunwa is a TE playing WR

Prolly would've went with Davis and Bostick all the same. There was room for him. He didn't cut it....

Kid's stepping up. Good mismatch against most DB's.

He'll be like Anthony Davis with the Pelicans. Great player totally wasted on a shite team.

Literally the only reason to watch this team (and even then it still feels like 3 hours wasted).

Gotta bump it, one of the only positives of this year. Most improved player on the roster. From last year we were all talking about his stone hands and now he was the leading reciver in yards and touchdowns, and one catch behind B Marsh.
So at least we have one postive to go on lol

If he continues on his current pace, he'll be well over 1,000 yards next year. Went from 0 to 315 to 857 in yards in three years and is a matchup nightmare for undersized corners.

I wonder how he'd be able to work on the outside as he reminds me of Anquan Boldin every time I see him. Anderson, Peake, Decker & Enunwa is a good enough core to get rid of Marshall and his $8 million contract coupled with being hated in the locker room by most of the team.

With a team that's unlikely to be very competitive next year, keeping Marshall is just a waste and disallows us to progress the young guys.

The Boldin Comparison is pretty spot on. If he improves next year to over 1,000 yards that's awsome but even if he stays in the range of 7-800 yards a year I really hope the Jets resign him this offseason. Seems like a team guy and isn't a locker room cancer. But just going off of how he improved each year so far I feel pretty confidant about him getting 1,000 yards.

Yeah I think marshalls time here is done assuming they try and get younger and build a foundation. BUT if "Magik Mike" decides to make some big splashes in the offseason to try and reload into a win now team again ( I really really hope they do not go this route but knowing they jets they will)

With both the head coach and general manager receiving a considerable amount of heat for this years disaster can you really see them change courses in trying to rebuild the team?

If I'm on the hot seat I'm signing every player I can to be a winning team in 2017. It's not at all the correct direction, but it's what I foresee happening.

That's exactly what's going to happen with the Jets.
