Of course Romo here won't happen for many reasons. I'm interested about the Romo-to-Denver possibility - the question is who would blink first (Dallas would want to hold up Denver for draft picks, but the fact is that Romo is way too expensive to be on the Cowboys next year in any event, so they can't afford to be too picky). I do think a healthy Romo on Denver could beat New England in the playoffs.

I think Tyrod Taylor is a much more sensible possibility for the Jets, but presumably he will be waived before his ridiculous salary guarantees kick in, so he'll be a free agent and could very well get better offers elsewhere. He's certainly not worth any kind of major commitment.

Can't we just focus on important things? A new o-line. A new secondary. An OLB that can rush the QB. Another RB to play with Powell.

Then we can talk about washed up QBs like Romo or Glennon.

We don't have the type of roster where a Romo move would make sense. If we were a QB away, then fine, but we are about a million pieces away. I might consider Cutler on a one year deal simply because you can't realistically go into next season with just Petty/Hackenberg unless you are openly tanking, and this organization is not going to openly tank the way the Browns did this year (even if some fans would like to see it). Some veteran who has started before on their teams will be brought in, and barring miraculous improvement from Hackenberg, that vet will be our starter week 1 next season.

Cutler might rip this division up.

    Might.

It's too bad our o-line is oh so shitty. It really limits our options.

Tyrod can run for his life a lot better than Romo ever could.

Going into the season so many fans were convinced that we had an incredible roster and all we needed was a bum like Fitzpatrick to be a SB contender.

Now our roster is so shitty that a great QB can't help us.

Jets don't need a Tony Romo nor should they pursue a Tony Romo. The future QB of this team is Christian Hackenburg (who should NOT play tomorrow). The Jets need to bring in a no frills, professional QB next season, someone such as a Matt Moore, or a Case Keenum.

Unless Romo is allowed to wear the red no contact jersey during games, the Jets shouldn't consider him.

I'm in the minority here but I think Romo is a franchise QB...atleast when he plays...so I wouldn't mind us picking him up as long as the costs weren't too high

There's no point in a bandaid career loser like Fitz which is what I always believe no matter the situation. Romo is obviously a much better player so its a different situation.

I understand he's fragile but we will need to groom a younger QB regardless, either Hack or a draft pick.

I don't think Romo will want to come here regardless but I would like the move, I think with a few additions and Romo we would be atleast a playoff contender

He just threw a TD btw on a nice drive

I'll take him right now. Hasn't played all year and looks better than any QB we've had

I'd go get Tyrod Taylor but Romo would be choice 2

Choice 3 is just sticking with Hack, Petty, draft pick

Don't see anyone else worth it...I like garoppolo but he's not getting traded to us haha

I'd rather sign AJ Mccaron from Cincy than get Romo

This is no on so many levels. Havent we learned from Texans experiment and countless other teams? He needs to show hes worth something.

There are too many playoff caliber teams that would benefit from Romo. Jets make no sense.

If it wasn't for our O-Line I would be all over Romo coming To NY. He would definitely help the team out...

Signing Romo would be a typical Jets move.
