The more I think about it, the more I think Hack shouldn't see the field this week. If he gets injured seriously the Jets will have no signed QBs available for spring camp.
Just let that sink in for a minute.... F'n incredible that a NFL Team has no idea who its qb will be and having no one on the roster that can play Qb if your project gets hurt. The questions we all should be asking is: How the fuck did we get here? Who's driving the train? Is there anyone with a clue in the FO?
Well since Mac isn't pressing for Hack to play, I guess they are thinking about this. Hack not playing this year hurts Macs reputation, so you bet there would be a good reason. I just wish they sat Petty for the Pats game and threw Fitz to the wolves. Especially when they lost Winters to IR.
Hackenburg needs to work on his mechanics. It's very hard to do that when you're preparing for an NFL game. Let him fix whatever he needs to fix before throwing him into NFL play.
The Jets should play a very conservative offense against the Bills. They aren't playing for anything. The oldest veterans will likely be off the team next year. Don't want to get Fitz injured and then have to play Hackenberg. Just end this season without any more drama.
What? After last year? Do you have any idea how they gloated up there? I have family in western NY and they were insufferable.
I can't say I have seen anything. I think the way he expresses himself he speaks very intelligently( to me) and this leads me to believe he can convey concepts about offense to our young QBs. jmo. Desire, I do not know, which is why you ask. I also believe I said consultant So maybe he is not there all of the time. I did say it was a crazy idea, but the more I think about it maybe it is not so crazy at all....
