Yea you can by hitting on a QB but the odds of that and one of us winning the mega milz is about the same
If we were smart / lucky enough to have drafted Dak, someone would have punched him in the jaw and Fitz would have started for us anyway.
Sorry no luck was involved since Dak was a 4th rounder vs Hack 2nd round. All that was involved in this decision was Mac stupidity
Sorry but I'm convinced if he were on the Jets he would've never seen the field for 2 years ... then once he did it probably would have been in the second quarter of a game vs the pasties thrown into the fire after an injury, and fail'd in typical Jet fashion !
How to fix the Jets in one offseason? The answer is not to try and fix the Jets in one offseason. Keep Woody locked away in the basement ...
Let them play in the big 10 for a year to get a few wins and build their confidence. When they lose to Michigan and Ohio state let the team know that its ok cause one of the coaches has been to a Superbowl and the other one beat NIck Saban
There's no quick fixing this mess and I would prefer we took our time in fixing it. Every time we try to acquire high priced free agents they backfire and create embarrassing seasons like we are witnessing now. Let's focus on the draft, off load high priced veterans who aren't producing and get rid of cancerous attitudes within the locker room. We also need to find a competent HC that is firmer in his stance, willing to adapt to situations, and is more ballsy in game.
it really pretty simple - what we need to do is get the NFL to agree to put all the players into a pool and we do a fantasy football style draft and we get to pick first (though knowing this team they would take a defensive lineman)
The very premise of this thread is impossible. There is no way this team can be fixed in one offseason. Far too many deficiencies in every facet of the team. From the Org Chart on down to the cheerleaders there is ineptitude. We can't draft right, coach right or even lose right. We're not competitive anywhere on the field anymore.
