He's cried wolf too many times, when he posts a respectable thread, it gets hammered.

Sticking to thread subject, I think Mac has done a better job than Idzik.

Is this even a question? Idzik drafted like a guy who was spending his bosses expense account money while finding out his wife was two timing him. I literally lost faith in the entire NFL system because of the 2014 draft.

I'm so tired of the Jets picking projects in the 2nd round. In the 2nd round, pick players that come in and start immediately! The fact that Hackenberg was a project this year, just shows that he did not deserve to be picked in the 2nd round. I'm not saying he's a bust or that he'll never be successful. I'm just saying, he should not have been picked in the 2nd round knowing that he was a project pick. The Jets could have chosen among many players that were ready to start for them and could have filled one of many holes the Jets have.

I think the Jets should just keep picking defensive lineman in every 1st round for now on and then just release or trade one they already have. Then we can make fun of them every year.

Look at our last 1st 2nd round picks over the last 5 years that didnt pan out its almost impossible to be this bad

    2.Stephen Hill-Out of football
    2.Jace Amaro-Bust
    2.Geno Smith-Bust
    2.Hackenburg-Who knows
    2.Devin Smith-Bust

    1.Quinton Coples-Out of the league
    1.Dee Millner-Out of the league
1.Sheldon Richardson-Becoming a problem not making any impact

This is why we are a joke,if all these picks were studs we would be in the playoffs right now and these are only the first two rounds

It's not his fault he was drafted well beyond his talent level. No business being drafted in the second round.

    why stop there?

Vlad Ducasse, Kellen Clemens, Doug Brien, Justin Miller, Jon McGraw.......... and we can keep going back weeding through bums to find gems like Browning Nagle (The Brett Favre consolation prize)

There needs to be a moratorium on this franchise selecting players in the 2nd round. All 2nd round picks should be packaged &/or traded

Mike Tannenbaum did a much better job drafting than either of these bums.

Too bad he gave out huge extension deals like candy to retain our guys.

I think he learned a lesson from his experience as GM of the Jets and unfortunately it's showing with the Dolphins.

They are developing a balanced offense with a HC who has a reputation for doing good work with QBs. As dolphins Vice President of football operations I'm hating Tannenbaum right now, simply from a sports perspective.

Seriously shut up, he was drafted where he was supposed to be. Let him continue to sit and learn and fix what issues he has/had.

Stop judging players so damn fast, y'all are way too emotional.

Agreed. Most of the Idzik picks are completely out of football. His best are barely on other team's practice squads.

Please research football a little bit before posting a thread like this.

Yes, you can't really compare the two until after Maccagnan's picks have reached the end of their rookie contracts and then see if they're still in the league.

So what you're saying is, Idzik and Maccagnan have produced the same amount of starters in the same amount of drafts?

Maccagnan's been better but let's not act like he's been other worldly better than Idzik. They're on the same pedestal as far as I'm concerned.

Uhh..the problem is that Idzik's drafts are two year further removed than Macc's...

If he was drafted where he was supposed to be, why did no one else want him that early?

At no point did I call him otherworldly better, or for that matter, praise him in any way. My opinion of him is literally that the jury is still out! I posted that list simply to illustrate just how godawful Idzik's drafts were, and how harshly one would have to judge Mac's drafts to say that they're already worse. We might get there eventually, might not...but look how long it took a guy like Enunwa to emerge as a bright spot for this team. I'll dredge this list up in 2018; hopefully it won't be to look back in horror.
