I don't think at this point we will get anything in return for Sheldon.

Option 1 -- Just cut his ass
Option 2 -- Play out next season and let him walk (risk of locker room disruption)
Option 3 -- Keep him, hope he starts off well next season and can trade him at deadline to a contender

    My vote is option 1.

If the Bills win out Rex may keep his job. Then we could trade Sheldon there for a first rounder.

I wonder if a lot of this behavior is because Sheldon knows his days are numbered and he's not gonna get paid like Snacks and BigMo. Not excusing the behavior, just trying to find an explanation. Seems after that kid got shot in Missouri, Sheldon hasn't been right since. Not sure why but he's gonna realize nobody will pay big for a headache.

Dude was a asshatfrom day one. Loud mouth rookie alway running his mouth. Acted like he was here for 10 years when hadn't done a thing yet. You can tell he's got no leadership me first attitude. Always thinks he's way more important than he is. Remember him calling time out when we were on offense and getting penalized?

Last time I checked Sheldon is an adult...... Bowles doesn't get paid to babysit.... it's time for Sheldon to Act his age or get the hell out...... it's not like Sheldon has a stellar history of using his brain.......

This is why they should have unloaded him and Brandon Marshall at the deadline. They were more likely to get more for Sheldon had they traded him to a desperate team trying to make a playoff or superbowl run. But Mac was being foolish and asking for a first round pick, instead of a conditional third. Now, they'll be forced to trade an elite player for a 6th round pick.

At this point, calling this guy elite is a far stretch...

Sheldon being an idiot doesn't change the fact that hes been pretty great for much of his career. Yeah he he's had a down season, but he's probably going to flourish in a more optimal situation next season. Even if he isn't elite, his talent is certainly worth more than the pick they Jets will likely get for him in the offseason. They're selling low on him; they probably would have gotten more had they been realistic and traded him at the deadline to Dallas.

Yeah. Who would of thought Sheldon Richardson.... a guy who was caught speeding with a minor in the car while stoned and in possession of a firearm; I JUST can't believe he posted a video like that. And we wonder what our locker room is full of cement heads?

It seems this team or maybe the defense is lacking a leader...someone who can tell these kids like Shelden that he's talented as hell but you acting like a knucklehead not only will get u kicked off the team, but possibly out of the league. Yes this is a lost season but SR either feels he's entitled or he possibly just feels he doesn't have a future...I mean he's gone from a talented pass rusher, to playing positions that don't fit what he does...he's not a LB despite how athletic he is.

I mean we went from Shelden almost chasing down that RB in OT in the Vikings game, a talented stud defensive linemen, to a guy who possibly mailed it in. Let's face it, trading him now will just signify he's a cancer or you want him gone. Maybe you try to rebuild him because of the talent or something...but you trade him now, your getting MAYBE a 5th or 6th rounder...if he's that cancerous to the locker room then by all means do it. We have too much talent just wasting away on this team, possibly because they punted the season.

However it's accomplished doesn't matter all that much in the long run, but Richardson needs to have played his final game as a Jet last night. You're not going to get much in a trade, but if Mac can get anything for him at this point, go ahead and get it. If not, send the message and cut him before the end of the season.
