I'm still waiting for someone to explain exactly how Russia helped Trump win. Did they force the DNC to go with a terrible candidate? Claiming fake news and propaganda is cool, but where are the details? I'm not saying it didn't happen mind you, I'm just wondering what the details are.
I think we're completely fucked as a country if people don't have a problem with the fake news stuff we've seen. That's how empires fall- their constituents no longer are able to be properly aware of their situation and problems. What is even more troubling is that people appear to enjoy being unaware and ignorant. idk if Russia was involved or not but I am truly worried if we can't get to the bottom of this stuff without saying things like "did they force the DNC to go with a terrible candidate?" or almost justifying this stuff because they compare completely made up bullshit to a perceived bias in legitimate media (another thing I've seen quite a bit of)
What fake news stuff though? The mainstream media has been putting out fake shit forever. Did you seen Brian fucking Williams preaching about fake news? I mean really? One of the most important freedoms in this country is freedom of the press, so how exactly do you combat this type of thing? If Russia was putting out fake news, please point me to it. I believe the allegation is Russia hacked the Dems and Reps but only released dirt on the Dems. So now they have their guy (Trump) in power, and they can blackmail him with what they haven't released.

I mean, fuck Bernie, but there were at least two known incidents of her giving questions to Hillary and CNN severed ties with her after finding out about the second one. The specific questions aren't really that relevant, are they? Seems like a problem if the debates are rigged this way, doesn't it? At least with fake news people can figure it out for themselves. The only way we know if the debates are rigged is if Russia helps out.
It's funny, a couple of weeks after the NH primary I was riding in an executive car to the airport when the driver started talking about how he had driven Debbie Wasserman Schultz on primary night and how she was wallowing in tears and going on and on about how she was going to lose her job because Bernie won the NH primary. It made no sense to me then why the head of the DNC was that upset that a Democrat won the democratic primary. Then when the facts came out about how hard the party was working just to rig the NOMINATION, it all made sense.
