I've been watching the Jets for 47 years. And I love to watch them win. I don't care what it does to our draft pick. It looks like the 6th right now. Find some O line and then a possible edge rusher, The rest of the picks should be best available to grow young backups that will hopefully become 1st stringers in the middle of their 2nd year. CB'S, safety's, an RB, special team return man with vision and speed. Reading all the posts that analyze the play of the O, the D, the Special teams and ALL the coaching staff just gives me a headache. I'm sure many of the posters played at least some High School FB and some even Collage. But that doesn't make them experts. We all observe the game and have varied thoughts about what we see, but none of us know what the play call was. Did the receiver run the planned route, or was it an inaccurate throw. How do you really know. Just keep winning every possible game and let the chips fall where they may.
I doubt that 20% of the people posting here played organized sports past the sophomore year in HS.. It's okay, though. I don't think you need to be an athlete to be a fan. I just wish there was a handful of people whose parents passed down some common sense and a value system that included sportsmanship.
Stat-chasing is where you went wrong. But it's nice to know that you have established some goals for your life. For a while, you sort of resembled a bot.
I've been a NYJ fan since 1965 which means 51 years for me & sorry I must disagree with U when the ONLY win that matters is winning rings like the Steelers or Pats come to mind immediately
