IF Kaepernick has a good game today, and finishes the season strong, then yeah, I bet there will be people here (and elsewhere - Mehta for sure!) who will be calling for the Jets to sign him, but I wouldn't want him. He's too hot & cold, and then there's the whole distraction quotient. Personally, I don't care if he kneels or sits or stands, protest is part of our history, but I want the Jets to either have Petty/Hack work out, or look for a stud QB in 2018.
My best case scenario is probably Petty lighting it up to Anderson, Devin Smith and Peake/Jalin but the team loses because Revis gets smoked repeatedly. Higher draft pick, the players who will be here next year play well and the one who won't loses the game. Who's upset after that?
Our secondary has made every opposing QB look great, as long as you can throw the football, its almost a guaranteed to have a big day against the Jets
