Brother, I’m in the Air Force, I work long hours have a family, take college classes hoping to get my degree someday. When the Jets are worth watching, I bend over backwards to catch the game. When they suck like this year I don't waste my time seeing them play like shit.
Other players besides Fitzpatrick to be benched. How come Qvale or Shell isn't in there playing RT instead of shitbag Giacomini??
I don't care what you guys say about lack of reps, Petty was atrocious against a prevent defense. Seriously, he couldn't read prevent defenses. And when his first read, which was all he ever looked at, WAS open, he still missed over half the time.
Without a doubt one of the most embarrassing displays of athletics I've seen in recent years. Not a single one of them had the faintest idea of how to play the game until the they stuck the backups in. Anderson may not be able to catch or Petty connect very often, but at least their trying. The rest of them are f-ing clueless. I'd say 70 per cent of those guys are just phoning it in.
I've seen what I need to from Petty. He can't read a defense. Start him the next 4 games. However, I already know what to expect. 4 TDs to 6 INTs.
Agreed. Now we are seeing what they see in practice. Some of those INTs are total head scratchers. I can see a similar stat line but at least it'll give us a chance to get a full evaluation and a top 4 pick.
Bullshit. You are totally clueless if you truly think he is arena football material. The guy has had little practice time, and is still learning. The only way he improves is to play.
Dude, you are clueless. It's totally stupid to think you know what Petty can do after coming into the game cold, and getting a last minute start a couple of weeks ago with no practice reps. I swear some of you guys need to be banned from watching football. Period.
I said during the preseason that i wasnt impressed. He needs to learn to progress thru his reads. He didnt fonit during the preseason and he hasnt when hes played during the regular. That said, i do agree he needs to get real time play. There's still no excuse to start fitzpatrick. Sent from my SM-N930V using Tapatalk
Ray Lucas saying it was wrong to throw Petty in there at halftime. He deserves the start with a full week of practice reps.
Cascadden calling out effort and moral, and Westhoff questioning schemes, spot on. Ray hysterical interrupting them as usual
There isn't really too much of a reason to defend Petty. Making reads should be easy. He shouldn't be locking in and staring down, especially against Prevent D. Let him prove us wrong. We will see what he has the next four weeks.
