It's obvious that Petty and Anderson haven't had much time together to work on timing. Glad Petty finally hit him. Given time, I think they can be a great duo. No, the Rams game wasn't shown down here.
Imagine, the Jets might actually be able to run and get some room on those intermediate routes if there's actually a consistent deep threat. You don't even have to connect more than half the time for it to be effective in keeping defenses from putting 8 men in the box.

How's he supposed to play with practically no reps and most of the team having quit already? If he has a week to prepare as the starter and Gailey has a real game plan for him, not the shit from his first last minute start or tonight just having him air it out, he has a chance. I hope he starts every game here out and plays well, but I hope that we lose all the games. If we win one of two with Petty starting, however, I can live with it.
You can see Petty is much more comfortable slinging and in shot gun...If they build the offense around that, I will be okay with it...Yes he and Anderson can be great together...I think I would like to see Peake and Devon Smith
