Ohio State represents everything wrong with college football. There is zero objective criteria that they should be ahead of Penn St in the polls, and yet they are simply because people subjectively, before the season started, said they were better than Penn St. It's absolutely ludicrous.
The best is when the rankings start at the season are based on how things ended last year, even if a team loses a crapload of players to the NFL.
If Ohio St is put in the playoffs over Penn St, then college football might as well go back to using the BCS formula. Then the top 4 teams from that poll could go to the playoffs.
It is pretty messed up that a team can play for the National Championship without even winning their division, let alone their conference. To be fair though, and I hate Ohio State more than most people, but Ohio State is NOT ranked ahead of Penn St. because of preseason rankings. They've beaten 3 top 10 teams (Okie, Wisconsin, Michigan), two of them on the road. Penn St's only win against anyone good was Ohio State at home. I think Wisconsin wins though anyway this weekend

Danny Langsdorf has to go ASAP, they guy is a horrid OC and bacuse of him the offense on this team has been anemic all season. Yea lets pass 20 years down field for a fucking 3rd and 3, yea great job Danny you fucken retard. That guy makes some of the most boneheaded play calling and gametime decisions than ive ever seen before. He had the teams best I-back sitting till the mid point of the 3rd quater and the worst part was that he was in the best condition all season, and he was fucking sitting. To put the icing on the cake, Tommy Armstrong was nursing a bad injury and they would have been much better off had they sat him and put Darlington in.Just the entire way that game went and the end of the Maryland game, STILL has me pissed off to this day. They should have won that game in Iowa but because of Langsdorf they lost it. Even worse this means that inbreed fucksticks from Iowa have won 3 of the last 4 matchups.
I used to love Penn St. I loved Joe Paterno, but after all the crap surfaced a few years ago, I lost about all respect for him, and now hope that Penn St. never wins another game. Franklin doesn't deserve for his team to win the way he screwed with Hack's mechanics.
