On a side note, has anybody heard about Jill Stein requesting a recount of the swing states? Claims there are inconsistencies with voting numbers reported from machines and the actual count. This could get interesting.

If you look at the different demographics of the areas in question that accounts for the vote differences, it had nothing to do with the actual count differing from the machine count.

One person that was quoted by those calling for a recount said they misrepresented his argument for a recount.

The likely explanation is that voting machines produced more Trump votes because they were used more widely in areas with pro-Trump demographics.

It's funny that some people are claiming the machines were hacked by Russia. Some people have no clue.

Jill Stein is an idiot. If she was so concerned about a Trump presidency, she should have dropped out instead of taking votes from Hillary.

Kind of interesting that almost double the money she raised for the ENTIRE election campaign has been raised for the recount.

I'm sure it's Clinton money. I guess she didn't want to appear like too much of a hypocrite after railing on how Trump must accept the results of the election or risk being a threat to democracy. I don't know why she would have an ounce of shame all of the sudden though.

Exactly, just curious what Stein got promised out of the deal, as it has to be a candidate to file for the recount.

When the will of the people is ignored, there's a legit complaint to be had.

Except the will of the people in 60% of the states in these United States voted for the winner.

You don't get to change the rules after the fact and assume everything else stays the same. Simple concept really.
