    Self loathing whites, though.

And whose idea of diversity and cultural interest is to only interact with brown people when they are in non-brown environments. It's a glorious self-celebration of progressiveness that their $25k a year private elementary school provides scholarships to low income minorities. Nothing says you are interested in other cultures when you only know and interact with them after removing them from their neighborhoods and into yours.

That's the problem with the Democratic party. You have the elitists on one end and the social leftists on the other. The Democratic platform used to be about advocating for working people of all backgrounds. It got away from that and look what happened.

He can't handle when someone speaks against him. That's why he brought all the media together the other day to make sure they say nice things about him. If not he'll kill them just like what his friend Putin does.

I find it hard to believe that people would be so fucking stupid as to do the Nazi salute. How this shit still goes on is beyond me.

This country is filled with millions of dumbasses. Sure Trump enthusiasts have a hard time with the video being true.

Makes you wonder if at the end of WWII, the majority of Nazi fugitives didn't go to Argentina..

Well, it does kinda speak to the deplorable comment doesn't it.. Amazingly enough, the "greatest generation" should be up in arms. The very enemy they defeated in 1945 is back in the USA in 2016 in a new form and americanized.

But there's a big detail missing here: is this a handful of crazies, or a legion of maniacs? I voted Trump and I sure as fuck don't associate with this. For people like me, people doing the Nazi salute is both frustrating and disgusting.

No it doesn't. She was speaking broadly about anyone who was voting trump; this is a narrow group of people who have always existed. Trump didn't create racism or racists. This has nothing to do with Trump; this is a group of people who feel emboldened and are simply using Trump as a rallying cry.

Trump supporters aren't surprised at this because, if they are rational, they know what this is. Hysterics are the ones using it to continue to paint all Trump supporters with the broad brush of racism.

Because reverse racism isn't real that party is in disarray and the only way they get votes is by hooking people up with that sweet sweet govt money

I want the citizens of the United States of America to pick the president every four years and I want everybody's vote to count equally. That shouldn't be a crazy or unreasonable request. I get why republicans don't like that, it's harder for them to win, but that's not logical or valid reasoning. Presidential candidates are supposed to win over the people, not the land.

Counting people's votes less because of where they live is preposterous and I will never take US elections seriously until they fix this. My vote was irrelevant in NJ this year because it's not a swing state. Simple fact and many people don't vote for this reason. Get rid of the electoral college and more people will turn out to vote since their vote actually would matter then.

No, Hillary said half of the Trump supporters were deplorable. That's not speaking broadly about the whole group thats actually quite specific. And 50% might actually be too low.

The citizens don't pick the president in a constitutional republic. If you'd like to change our form of government so that we have a democratic vote for president please make it happen one way or another.

Until then, the form of government is what it is.

    The electoral college works great.

BTW, I don't recall anyone whining about the electoral college when everyone in the lame stream media was telling us Hillary was a lock to smash trumps face on election day.

I think this distracts from the discussion big time. One can wish we all actually had a say in electing our president and not be a whiny Hillary supporter..... I think we need changes. I've been believing this long before Hillary lost to Donald Trump.

I don't know what the answer is but I think its a little back-asswards when the Presidential candidates spend more time in Davenport, IA then places that matter.

If nothing else, maybe some changes would have a positive effort on our horrendous voter turnout... So I think that's where you are wrong. The electoral college doesn't work great, it works, but when only half the people vote, that's not what I would call great.

I question how much where they physically spend time actually matters as the internet makes it so easy to find out everything you need to know about the candidates. I'm not saying it's meaningless, but I'd bet that it's less meaningless than it used to be and will likely continue to become less and less meaningless.

More importantly, all of the states shouldn't be dictated to by a few heavily populated areas that share vastly different cultural and political views.

If the Electoral College voted to deny Trump the presidency, I take it you wouldn't complain?
