I dont really care about this NFL season, whether the Jets spoil the Pats season and knock them off their game. I care about the Jets developing their young talent and progressing to next year. And now it seems, I am hoping for a new HC.

I had a feeling Fitz would play this week. I knew Petty would have to have an awesome game last week to keep him playing as the starter. The Patriots will embarrass us. Might as well let Fitz get destroyed next week and play Petty for there on out. 3-8 gives us <.0001% of going to the playoffs and even fighting for moral reasons is stupid when the team won't come to play anyway.

When the team was 1-3 I said on another site that I had no faith in this CS to fix the issues with this team. Unfortunately, they have proven me right. bowles is clueless and this isn't about petty being ready or not ready, he is coaching to survive by starting Fitz and not throwing in the proverbial towel. like some of you I been around 49 years and this is as bad as its ever been even the Kokite teams that played harder than this fking team. personally believe he has lost the team already and the proof is on the field of play.
How is that proving that they're assholes? What are fans supposed to do? Just bend over and take it up the hershey highway gladly? Those who have season tickets or purchase tickets have a lot invested in the team. They have a right to boo. Even those of us who live so far away that we can't go to games have a right to boo, to protest in whatever form or fashion that we see fit. It doesn't make us assholes. That's just stupid. I hope that Fitz throws about 8 pick sixes and he fumbles 3-4 times as well, and hope the team gets beat 100-0. Further, I hope that both Petty and Hack tell Woody to fuck off and demand to be traded and leave the Jets with NO QBs for next season.
At this point, Wins/Losses dont matter. What matters is getting the young guys the experience they need and for the team to play better AS a team. Show some fight, some heart. Dont try to finesse a win by having guys play who let the team down and are not going to be on the team next year.
I don't think you think at all. What possible reason would Mac have for wanting Fitz to start? I'll tell you. The answer is NONE. He is in charge of building the team for the future. Fitz won't be back. They need to find out what they have in Petty. Your earlier point is also dumb. Anderson had his best game against the Rams with Petty throwing him the ball. So that reponse about giving the young WR's the best chance to grow is BS. Their best chance to grow is giving B Marshall a seat on the bench next to Fitz. They can stare into each others eyes and serenade one another.
