Dude I thought his season was over and he was going to need rehab well into next year. I'm ecstatic that's it's only going to be two months. Like I keep saying I don't care at all about the regular season anymore as long as we get a playoff spot

That injury was gruesome. I was at the game. They showed the replay one time, and the crowd reaction was something else. Thankfully, they only showed it once.

You know what sucks is the NHL pulled Raanta for concussion protocol and it cost us the home game against Vancouver. At the end of regulation last night Zib had his head smashed into the ice and they DIDN'T take him in for concussion protocol. If they did he wouldn't have been on the ice for that injury. Then you have the goal that was waived off because they called a bad offside and didn't look at their own blue line camera, and all the shit calls all game. I'm putting the loss & the injury last night on the NHL

In my book, this is a very valid point.

When the ice is horrible and the defense continues to be a dumpster fire moving the puck forward, it doesn't really matter how much individual speed you have, unfortunately.

Yes, let's blow up the team because we lost two games in a row, and a player had a freak injury!

What in the absolute fuck are you talking about?

Team's speed was neutralized last night because of shit ice and the defensemen couldn't make a play. What does that have to do with blowing the team up?

You coming to that conclusion based on my post brings your sanity in to question, absolutely.

That was one of the best 3rd periods they've played in the last 3 years.

I broke my right leg playing hockey the same exact way he did. When I saw that replay I knew exactly how he was feeling, the pain, and the realization that something is so wrong. Don't be surprised if it's longer than 6-8 weeks before he is back on the ice.

    Wish him a speedy recovery.

What patience?!?! This team is scoring more goals than any Rangers team in 20 years! I'm enjoying this, and can easily handle six losses for every fourteen wins.

I absolutely agree that the team speed can be neutralized on occasion, but on a night-in night out basis, this team is outstanding. Yes, past teams, like the one who made the finals, ALSO had speed, but the difference with this team is that they are actually FINISHING their scoring opportunities.
