IS THIS POSTED ANYWHERE ? He had a bizarre session with the reporters today wish there was a video, maybe there is
Is there a limit to how many people can fit in one clown car? I'm convinced there trying to break a record
Half of his starting line are complete and utter f---- ups. Jeez. Wonder why he won't talk to the press?!
This entire CS needs an hot water enema.. If Bowles is safe, Woody should just come out and say it so he can stop with the Machiavelli act. Keeping the press in the dark is also keeping his team in the dark on important matters like.... direction for instance. I dunno what Woody's infatuation is with first timers but he's killing the franchise with it and needs to change course. My biggest fear is that Woody will pull a Dolan and hire some egomaniac that used to be great but stand frozen in time. Remind you of anyone?
People on here are always so fired up about how we need to hire an experienced HC! The last three "experienced" Head Coaches the Jets hired: Rich Kotitie, Bill Parcells, Bill Belichick. One made us the laughing stock of the league, one built us up then took off, and one left us at the altar. The only experienced head coaches available are available for a reason. Every fan of any team needing a coach always cries out for Cower or Gruden, which is about as useful as offering the job to John Madden or Bill Parcells. If you want an experienced coach you're going to end up with an exciting menu of Marty Mornhinweg, Scott Linehan, Jeff Scwartz, Jim Zorn, Bill Callahan, Doug Marrone, Brian Billick, Ken Whisenhunt, and other, even less appealing losers.
You do realize your examples are almost 20 years gone right? If you wanna look at those hires, Kotite was the only loser as they pulled the plug too soon on Pete Carroll. Parcells left and Belichek bailed mostly because they didn't want to work for Woody. Belichek had already set up a HC job. Parcells wanted to take time off. There are other prior HC that might be available. If not, perhaps Woody would allow Macc to hire his own HC which would be a huge departure for Mr. Johnson. You never know who's gonna get fired either. Perhaps a John Fox who a lot of us wanted back when he was with the Giants. Maybe Todd Haley can be coaxed out of Pittsburgh. At least he'd be an offensive minded coach as opposed to the DC's that Woody has been hiring. Knowing Woody though, he'd definetly pull a Dolan and make the wrong hire.
Who the fuck is Pepper Johnson? And who does he think he is not fulfilling his job responsibilities? Dude has no grip on his D-Line, must get fired.
Maybe it's just me, but I find it hard to get terribly excited hoping that a guy a lot of us wanted to hire 15 years ago gets fired for the third time so we can hire him..... The good news about Haley: He's already fired Chan Gailey once! The bad news: Rich Kotite Coaching Tree! And all the discipline and temperment of Rex Ryan!
As long as its anybody but Woody Johnson doing the next HC hire, I'm good. Let Macc hire his own guy and say a prayer that its someone that actually has a clue about a modern NFL offense so they can establish a system.
