Until the mob turns red there, then we'd need a super liberal idea like an electoral college.

It is a HUGE jump to try and correlate the questioning of the birth certificate had anything to do with race.

Agree but they do it all the time. If there were a white president with Norwegian parents that the right really hated and there was any doubt of his/her birth on some Hawaiian Island, then they would have raised the same legitimacy arguments as they did with Obama. It's not a "because he's black" witch hunt, it's a "because we only want conservatives" witch hunt

Colin Kaepernick didn't vote. Reminds me of Joe Strummer, know your rights! Bill O'Reilly, the gay divorcee, is an idiot. Sean Hannity is terrible, and you can't find anything with Rachel Maddow laughing about the Muslim Brotherhood. There she was with a flashlight aimed at her face, saying booooo, everyone was nuts and everyone else was wrong. You'll never find it, because it was removed years ago.

What I find most funny was Snowden getting around after his passport was pulled. How much cash did this turd have in his back pocket to even get out? Where and how did he exchange it? Or, is he a turd at all? Decisions, decisions. He works. He eats well. He has a job. He has an apartment. He broadcasts himself. He gets paid somehow. By who? Kaspersky? People are so deluded.

Pamela Anderson feeds Julian Assange as he works out on his sorry treadmill. Our gov't, who hates Assange, then uses it to bash Hillary. Assange is now a "source". In summation, Michael Savage still can't travel to Britain for hate speech. Everyone lies through their teeth and everyone sucks. Yeah, I voted Trump and I'd do it again if I could. I also voted Perot, because I like pie charts and apple pie.

Firstly, Snopes has been caught pushing a leftist agenda too many times to be trusted as a fact checking source.

From what I read it looks like President Elect Trump won the popular vote by 300,000 despite 3,000,000 illegal immigrants voting (estimate from a Drudge article).

    Here is the final tally.

    Brilliant writting.
I happen to regard Snowden as a hero.
The ones that don't scream bloody murder over Bush's patriot act while looking the other way when Obama is even more invasive.
He was a whistle blower exposing illegal and unconstitutional practices by the govt. Its hard for me to give him turd status.

Sorry but if you vote in California - your vote can help get 55 electoral votes --- over 20% needed to be elected
If you vote in S Dakota - your vote can help get 3 electoral votes --- a little more than 1% needed to be elected.
So the vote in heavier populated area actually has a chance to be worth more in essence it is not worth "less"

You are right we live in democratic republic, not a democracy which makes the point of popular vote a stupid and meaningless argument.
And you are so wrong, our entire history and formation of our country is a united group of states. States rights are a very important thing in our Constitution, it was one of the most important things to our founders.

Bingo. Every candidate in the history of this country campaigns to win the election, not win the popular vote.

Not to mention it's somewhat embarrassing for Hilary to have only won the popular vote by some 600k or so votes when she won California and New York by a combined +5 million votes. The democrats start with a huge advantage of a near automatic +84 electoral votes with NY and California. The county map is as telling as can be. She lost what appears to be 80%+ of the counties in New York but won the state. Mutiny!

Rethink your math. If you vote in California, you're one of 38.8 million people who will combine to equal 55 EVs. If you're from SD, you're one of 853,175 people who will combine to equal 3 EVs. So your vote in Califnoria is worth 1.4 * 10^-6 EVs and your vote in SD is worth 3.5 * 10^-6 EVs. In other words, your vote in SD is worth more than twice as many EVs as in California.

There's talk that some electors may go rogue and refuse to vote for Trump. It'll never be enough to deny him the presidency, but if it were, Trump supporters wouldn't really get to complain. After all, rules are rules. :)

Not going to argue we are looking at the logic a different way, we shall agree to disagree.

I am happy you got rid of that ridiculous Obi Wan Fitz avatar.

My avatar is whoever the starting QB is, so if Bowles plays Fitz this week, Obi Wan comes back. Hopefully not though, I like the Pettywalker look.

Your hero ran to the Chinese with our secrets and after they extracted everything out of him ,they told him to get lost because they value trade $$$ over him. His next and ONLY logical landing spot was with our soon-to-be buddies in Moscow. He is a narcissist and a traitor. You don't join the NSA or the CIA because you're a tree hugging liberal whistleblower, you join because you have an interest in intelligence and national defense. If he wasn't a scumbag he would have tackled the matter internally, protected by whistle blowing laws, or even gone to Congress with it. Running to any of our enemies that would take him and he's a hero? Naw, you're not really arguing that right?

The faithless electors would have to be the Republican Electors, and why would they want to make such an overtly mutinous move when it would be an obstacle to their party controlling all three legislative blocks? Never mind that the stock market is hitting record highs and money is flowing in with an expectation that Trump will grow the economy by at least 0.5% GDP. Wall Street is putting their money on that

The chance of enough electors going rogue would be infinitesimally small especially since 1 or 2 Washington electors stated they would not vote for Clinton in any case. That means 38 would have to go rogue. Libs can dream but when they wake up Trump will still be Pres-Elect.

As I said, it'll never happen. But the idea wouldn't be to get Hillary in but to send the election to the House who would pick a more conventional Republican.

Clinton isn't their only choice. I could well envision a draft Pence movement gaining support in the next few weeks if Trump does something incredibly stupid or some really bad dirt on him comes out or he gets indicted for something. Hardly out of the realm of possibility.

So now instead of 38 going rogue you are talking about 270 going rogue? Saying that it is hardly out of the realm of possibility is funny.
