We need tremendous luck at QB but in the meantime follow Dallas and Oakland plan Build monster OL and get some decent RBS (we have) Fire Shoddy Turdy and Old Chan Get better brain trust ASAP Offensive minded staff and some needed discipline imo
Glennon ? ps get rid of the entire coaching staff,,,,don't argue with me just accept they are in over their heads,,,ps Mac is on notice could care less right now if he's gone also,,,,this product and team the whole ball of wax SUCKS
If there was any possibility I'd be drafted by the NY Jets, I'd go back for my senior year......maybe grad school too!!!
He is number one in my list. Fire the CS at the end of the season and have Mac call Kyle immediately. This CS is a disaster, and I don't believe another year is going to make a difference.
I don't understand the scenarios regarding the Jets needing Fitz to come back next season. The guy fucking blows. The young guys might be worse, but at least we'll get to find that out. The team will be blown up anyway, so they'll not be winning anything anytime soon as it is. Low pressure for young players. Just give them an average OL so they don't get murdered every time they drop back.
If you are that blind and don't think the rams should have been an easy win not sure what to tell you. Fitz gets it done vs the rams rather easily. Bowles and his staff lost anyone they hadn't yet with that pathetic decision to start petty.
Should the Power Ranking guy who said the Jets have the most talented roster top to bottom be fired or promoted?
The season is over and there's literally no reason to put Fitz back in there as starter. He won't be on this team next season and instead of making Petty play a conservative game, Chan and Co. needs to let the kid throw the rock around a bit. Cut the BS and stop with the training wheels. Put the kid in, let him start the rest of the way, and let him play the game the way it was meant to be played. The rest of these games are for evaluation purposes only. Half of the starters may not even be on the team next year and you have to prepare for the future rather than continue playing vets who have no future with the team
Its not like we're in NE's class anyway as there is no chance whatsoever of the Jets winning. The only reason to start Fitz against the Pats is to avoid an embarrassing defeat aka: ass kickin on national TV. If Fitz shitz the bed against Belichek, that will signal the end of his run here and clear the way for Bowles to play Petty until the season is over. OTOH, if Petty plays in front of a stage that big and plays decently, the rest of his development should go a lot easer as it doesn't get much tougher on a rookie than the bright lights of national TV. I'm of a mixed mind about this. Playing Petty against Belichek is the equivalent of throwing him into the deep in of the pool BUT, Petty will be up against arguably the best defensive mind of our generation so he'll learn and gain valuable experience. He'll be on the same field with the Legend himself. That's gotta be a rush and should prod Petty AND GAILEY, to elevate their games. We're not gonna win anyway... we have nothing to lose at this point.
The season didn’t go the way the Jets wanted it to go obviously. The tough early schedule put them in a hole that we all feared. Fitzpatrick wasn’t able to replicate the success he had last year. We’ve had some injuries (like all teams do) that have hurt us. The season is what it is now. It’s not going to get any better. But getting madder and madder after every week is stupid. We know this team isn’t that good. They some major holes at key positions. I don’t think it’s a wise move to fire the HC and GM at the first signs of struggle in the big picture. I think you have to give them a chance to fix this. I want both of them back next year. I don’t like to cherry pick plays in games and recreate something that didn’t happen but I’m going to. Week 1- Our kicking cost us that game. Week 3- Jalin Marshall gave the Chiefs 7 points on a fumbled kick return which was taken back the other way for a TD and Fitz threw a pick 6 and turned the ball over multiple times in the red zone. Week 9- We had so many stupid penalties and got burned on a late game kick return to lose. Our players have made a lot of mistakes this year. Has the coaching been great? No. Bowles and Macc deserve some blame and they overrated the team they had this year. The secondary is a major problem and the O-Line needs to be overhauled. But I don’t throw all of this on them and I want to see if they can address the problems we have and fix it going into next year. I think its way to reactionary to fire them after a season and a half.
It would be soooo Jet like to bring Bowles back. I can't even fathom the possibility of watching another season of a team so poorly coached. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
