Bears are visiting the meadowlands 2 weeks in a row , and after the game against the Giants will not fancy coming back so soon. Take into account that they have already played one of our Div rivals who we beat , they actually have more to be worried about than a pumped up Jets team. This will be a close one and may come down to kickers, (gulp).

I have a feeling it will be a good game next week. I think we can compete with the Bears like we did yesterday against NE.

I'd rather play the bears at home than the pats on the road.

now if we hadnt won this game, I'd still give us a chance to win. Why? Rex Grossman has what, 15 or 16 starts under his belt? At this point hes almost a rookie QB.

He can be forced into having bad games.

The only way we win is obviously to win the turnover battle or keep up the superb special teams.

We'll need to keep the Bears D off balance and not be too predictable on offense. I think Chad strikes fear into opposing D's because of his ability to read the defensive schemes and make smart plays. After all we know he won't hurt you with his arm but he can out smart D'd and make them look stupid

On Defense gang green must rattle Grossman just like they did Brady, because Rex will diffidently through some shitty passes just ripe for pickin!!

I really don't see them beating on us like the Jags, as long as we protect the ball and dictate the pace of the game we should win.

Mark my words, if the Jets don't come out and win the game next week, they will definitely lose. However, if they are losing going into the 2nd half but then turn it around and win, it's not a loss, but a win!

    You heard it here first...

This is a game where haveing a weak legged kicker plays into our hands. The Bears probably don't get a chance to return a field goal for a TD.

This will be the 1st time Chicago will be seeing a base 3-4 defense. They played Miami and lost, but they're still more of a 4-3 base team...

Interesting to see how we'll gameplan on Grossman and the run game.

I think there are some real big differences between the Jags and bears. For one the Jags play man to man with fast corners and forced chad to try and beat them with his arm. The Bears on the other had play alot of cover two to confuse quarterbacks because there corners aren't fast at all. The jags also have a big play offense with there run. Jones & Benson 3.5 per(2 runs over 20 yards combined) aren't Taylor & Jones 4.6 per(6 over 20). That's why the Bears Defense usually has to get there offense yards and points. I think if force Grossman to make mistakes and don't turn the ball over, the jets will win....

The way Graham punts the ball, I would say that Hester puts at least one on the ground. The Bears are a front running team that has blown out sub par teams at home and has struggled on the road. If we do not let down, we can be real competitive, and maybe we will have confidence enough to win.

This game reminds me of a Game in 1997 when we took on the Bucs at home against a tuff defense after coming off a huge road win at Minn. We went on to beat the Bucs 31-0.

Has nothing to do with this game but it is similar.

I'm still elated over yesterday, so at this point the Bears don't scare me. We are at home, they are coming here back to back (and will probably have a let down after the hype of last night, now playing a non conference game). Plus they have the pats the following week; classic let down game. If our defense puts the pressure on Grossman like they did to Brady he will fold. And Chad should be able to put up enough points to win. Will be a fun game.

Now, come Friday I may be singing a different tune, but boy it felt good beating the Pats...

We'll need some good turnovers in this one. It's all gonna be about the mistakes or lack of.

I don't even care if we beat them. We finally beat the friggin Pats. If our D plays like it did last week, we have an excellent chance to win this game.

I'm looking forward to how Mangini and his staff game plan for the Bears.

One advantage for the Jets - the Bears played the Sunday night game, so the Jets got to watch the whole thing. There will be no surprises on Sunday.

One advantage for the Bears - they get to play on the same field they won on Sunday - the Meadowlands.

Bears play well against finesse offense teams. When their LBs can run around side to side and make plays, they are at their best. I think the Jets can play it running right at them with Barlow, then break it outside with Leon.

I think we have a close game right here.
