    a) racist
    b) homophobic
    c) trans-exclusive

just would like to point out that you are defending a comment about someone wishing a hurricane would come and kill 1,000s of people.

because liberalism leads to progressivism, leads to socialism, leads to communism, leads to the death of individualism and everything this country is supposed to stand for.

No, I am criticizing a flawed reply to the comment. It's a huge leap in logic to say criticizing a flawed reply equals defending the original post.

who cares?????? a flawed reply to an asshole comment. really?

If someone said we need a new 9/11 attack would you be picking apart that comment or the person who replied to that statement by calling them racist?

It's up to each individual to construct their argument with reason.

maybe if the entire media didn't slander Trump as a racist for over a year, actual racists wouldn't think this means an endorsement of their views

yes and individuals choose which argument they want to oppose as well. Something I think is pretty telling

Except I didn't oppose either one. I mocked the reasoning of one.

The original comment was just an asshole comment. There was no reasoning to address. The latter had flawed reasoning that was pointed out.

How does it feel to be openly stupid and make assumptions?

Prove to me how Obama has been one of the worst Presidents...Especially over the Bushes.

He leaves with a higher favorability rating then any recent President.

Because we all know favorability and popularity are the key analysis to determine a good or bad president.
The real story will be told 50 years from now, when I can pretty much guarantee that he will go down as one of the worst presidents in history.

After the Affordable Care Act is dismantled and repealed and the Iran deal gets torn up, Obama will have accomplished absolutely nothing in eight years.

    Economic Statistics:
The national debt has nearly doubled and under Obama's watch the US has accumulated more debt than under every other president combined.
The labor participation rate has fallen to 62.8% the lowest in almost 40 years and a much more telling statistic than the unemployment rate.
Obama is the only president in history where GDP has never reached 3% in a single year.
Americans below the poverty line is up while median household income is down.
Americans on food stamps up 40%
American who own homes down 6%

Worst of all is Obama is leaving behind the most divided nation in my lifetime.
His rhetoric and domestic stances and statements on racial issues have crippled the nation, he has been the single most divisive politician in god knows how long.

I could go on and on, but don't feel like writing a book.

His average favorability rating since Gallup started tracking is lower than all Presidents except Carter, Ford and Truman. If you are using it to try and prove how good a President is you have to use the entire term, not just one point in time.
Besides that Reagan, Bush I, Clinton went out with higher favorability ratings than Obama currently has. He is going out only higher than 1 President in the last 28 years.
His current high mark of 53% is only the average of all Presidents since Gallup started tracking it.

When Obama took office, the country was in an economic crisis. The economy has stabilized in part thanks to the limited number of things Obama could get through without being blocked by Republicans. At the same time though, he and his party lost touch with a large number of Americans and ignored the problem throughout his presidency, culminating in nominating a slap in the face to them in 2016. How Obama goes down in history will in large part be determined by how Trump does as president. If Trump runs the country well, Obama's issues will be magnified by comparison. If Trump bombs, those issues will seem like peanuts compared to the damage Trump might do.

Obama came into office with democrats in control of both houses, so there was not a limited numbers of things he could get through.
The way they handled themselves in those 2 years led to the revolt that had Republicans taking the house and eventually the senate

Once Ted Kennedy died in 2009, and Scott Brown won his seat, the Republicans filibustered everything. Anyway, I agree the Democrats screwed up trying to push their agenda through, a mistake the Republicans should learn from if they don't want to get screwed over 2 years from now.
