Give it up already. More college educated white people voted for Trump than for Clinton.

Paul Ryan is done. I bet he gets replaced as quickly as possible. Sucks for Ryan, but I think Trump will push for Ryan's replacement; and receive a new speaker. Unbelievable week.

Daily News cover is deplorable. MSM awful, admit you were wrong. Consume the crow!

I can't find that endorsement. I see Ryan endorsing Trump not the other way..?

I think Trump hand selects his speaker and it will be someone who supported him through and through.. Not Ryan. Today, is just fluff. As soon as Ryan can be replaced I think he will be.

This shows why our electoral system is bunk. This map is a fallacy, since Hillary won the popular vote. But here in America we count land mass as more valuable than people. I'm not saying Hillary was a better choice, but that's technically what the people voted for.

They need to trash the electoral college and make people's votes actually count for something instead of making low population states count as more valuable than they are and invalidating people's votes that don't live in swing states. It's been an issue for a long time and needs to be addressed.

Dont care if it was Trump, Romney, McCain, Obama, Hillary, Bill or the Bushes

Total vote of the Americans deciding the winner is something I am totally good with. I cannot understand why the Electoral college needs to be the key decision maker. It really shouldnt for the general election.

See my post on the previous page. The Electoral college is tied to population. You could argue whether states should split their electoral votes, but the college does better represent the general population.

Because of the presence of the electoral college, the popular vote is skewed. There's a lot of people that don't vote, because their state is a locked red or blue state. Unless there's something else important to vote on down ballot, many won't bother to show up.

Wrong - we are the United STATES of America and you are whacked if you think Iowa's 6 votes or Nebrasks 5 votes have more value than California's 55

Actually it is quite the opposite -- It shows that majority of people EVERYWHERE across this country really do not agree with democrats and liberal policy -- but large populous cities tip the scales.

One of the most sacred thing to the founders and framers of this nation was that the most of the power to govern is suppose to lie locally and not nationally.
The interests of states and individuals could never possibly be the same across hundreds and thousands of miles, large populations centers should not have more of a voice and a strict popular vote would mean LA, NYC, CHICAGO and a few other cities would basically dictate every national election.

A;most any State can be a "swing" state if the candidates actually went and tried to address issues important to those states.

What are you talking about liberals are extremely tolerant people as long as you agree with them.

Exactly. I know quite a few people who don't bother because they know that the liberal majority will win NYS anyway.
