Did someone record the game? Can anyone get a complilation of the Slow mo close ups? Those shots are pretty sweet and CBS did a great job showing Brady getting pounded like the Last play slow Mo. They also showed Barlow running over someone in Slow Mo. It would we great to get those clips
Those Slow mo replays were the bomb. Cbs did a great job, but I guess they only do that for one game a week. Jim Nantz and co were there so I'm guessing they do it for the "1st string" of CBS broadcasters.
I have to agree about the week call against hobson. If you are going to protect the QB, why not just make a tackle a 2 hand touch thing. He had the ball he was throwing it. My book, clean freaking hit. And it's not just the jets, its across the NFL.
Well it was the right call cuz the rules say that you arent supposed to lift the QB and drive him to the ground. But if your running 15 yards straight at the QB what the hell were you supposed to do? Trying to stop that momentum is freaking tough. The rules should put into consideration if the defender has unstoppable momentum it wouldnt be roughin the passer
I just watched it again, Hobson doesn't even lift him off the ground, Brady hopped as he threw the ball.
Ha! I said to my friend, "Look! Seau is crying like a little bitch!" That was almost as good as Marino looking like he was going to cry in the SB his rookie year. TBTF
That's exactly what I thought happened. Tommy got a bit light in the loafers and jumped up to throw over Hobson. That call is a joke, and is the fourth huge blown call against the Jets this year I can think of right off the top of my head. TBTF
I was commenting on the quality of the camera with friends. Hadn't realized CBS only did it to one game a week... Just like a previous poster said, 'twas great to see brady get smashed into the mud in slow mo, high definition.
1st Hobson was going full speed ahead and his head was down because he didn't want his helmet to hurt poor Brady. That was a timing run and it was at the same time Brady was ready to throw the ball. Just because poor little Tommy was getting his back splattered into the mud and became part of the field that's why the flag came out. I understand if they want to protect the QB but that was a horrible call and that's in the middle of the play, how the hell is Hobson to know right there when the ball is still in Brady's arm and he's about to release it. Costed us an interception and possibly could have ended the half with a field goal or another touchdown, but it never happened.
