He's not screwing up on purpose; once it looked like he might get the Republican nomination he actually did start trying to win. He's just wildly confident, has a bottomless need for external validation, and minimal self-control. That combo makes him immediately lash out at the slightest perceived insult. I don't see how he'd win the popular vote in a landslide and still lose in the electoral college, though. If there was an angry rural white guy voter awakening, that would also affect the battleground and light blue states.

So lets say this is a tight race electorally, and some backwater like Florida or New Hampster is full of irregularities again and the vote counting ends up in litigation. What happens when the Supreme Court deadlocks at 4-4? I believe that means the highest level lower court opinion carries. This could get interesting. I read today there are some rogue electors in Washington who have pledged not to cast votes for Clinton no matter what the voters say. Our constitution is a thing of pure genius, by the way. This kind of thing would never happen in some banana republic.

So for those voting when does voting close? When do you vote? How long does it take you considering there may be multi votings congress sheriffs etc? As its tuesday how can you take time off? How important is late western state voting considering east and central states results are coming in?
