I agree and even FS seems questionable at best. His effort in terms of tackling isn't there and the last person I want to see chasing down a receiver down the middle of the field is Revis. This regression was worse then Champ Bailey to be honest. At least late in his career he was a decent slot CB.
I like our chances. miami has been winning thanks to ajayi and the run game. the jets still have a top run defense. If they can't get ajayi going, they won't win. he has like 4TDs and 350+ yards in his last 2 games
Our players don't strike me as guys that give a shit either. Anyways, hope you're right, but I think Miami being favored is appropriate.
lowly Dolphin fan here . You guys kicked the crap out of us last season but I really think this will be a good game (obviously I am hoping for a Dolphin win/blowout but I don't see it happening). It'll come down to turnovers for sure. If Fitz throws some INTs then Miami wins.
Huge game. It will be tough. If the Jets can stop the run and limit Landry from big plays they can pull it off. I feel Miami is a bit under rated. I can see this being a close game the entire way. I agree that it will boil down to turnovers.
Revis just keeps making excuses in every interview...His wrist surgery....He put on weight....He wasnt in his rhythm ....bad communication. ...What a discrace he has become and i cant wait until we replace him.
bottle up J-Train... force Trannyhill to throw.... give Revis some help on Landry... Let Forte run wild... Ball game. 23-17 Jets. (dolphins score in garbage time)
Sounds about right to me. If the Jets play mistake free, they will win. If Fitz goes INT-Happy, they lose. Miami is still a mystery to me. They looked like one of the worst teams in the NFL the first month. Then won 2 impressive home games against the Steelers and Bills. So which team are they? We don't know yet.
3rd straight week of two shitty teams playing each other. The team that plays less shitty will win this shitshow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Can Ryan Tannehill torch the Jets? That is what will win or lose this game. Every QB has had their way with the Jets secondary. The Jets are good against the run and should be able to keep Ajayi in check, but if Tannehill can hit his passes, the Jets will have to adjust and could lead to their running game succeeding. The D-line needs to step up this week. I was disappointed in them in Cleveland.
Miami has some good receivers, this could get ugly and if it does I wonder what Bowles take on his defense will be then.
Force them to throw? That's a great plan, considering we can't stop any QB, our secondary is complete trash
He'll say we need to play better... you know a there is a saying, " A wise man can play a fool but a fool can not play a wiseman." Personally I believe TB fits this saying to a "T" just substitute the HC for fool...
LOL, Brandon Marshall initiates shit-talk with Byron Maxwell this week. Motherfucker better not be dropping passes all day.
There was a game against the Pats within the last few years when they had about 3 rushes the entire game. They knew that they could pass on us all day long ... and they were right. If teams had any sense, they would do that against us every single week this season. So I'm hoping the Dolphins don't have any sense. Any time they run against us on Sunday, they'll be doing us a favor. A pass defense of 8 YPA doesn't lie. Neither does 2 sacks in the last 100+ pass attempts against us. We need to tighten a few things up in our pass defense ... but I'm not sure we have a wrench that big.
