    ...Quincy Enunwa and Bilal Powell.

Both being held back by a pair of has-beens from the Bears.

Enunwa is blossoming but not sure he could do the same without marshall opposite him.
    Powell is Rodney Dangerfield.

    Enunwa is a beast.

He reminds me a lot of a young Anquan Boldin.

If it weren't for Marshall, he'd probably have 3x the number of targets. On the TD where he broke 4 tackles, Marshall was (pre-snap) waving to Fitz to throw the pass to him.

I think Quincy is a star in the making

He's got the YAC ability that you cant teach

Doing all of this with Fitzshithead as well

Bilal should be getting the majority of the touches from the rb spot...very underrated player

Robby Anderson made a couple huge catches today during the Jets 2nd drive in the 2nd half that led to the go ahead touchdown by Forte. The biggest one being the 16 yard catch he made on 3rd and 11 with the Jets backed up to their own 14. That 2nd catch he made for 9 yards should have been a first down, but credit to Bowles for going for it on 4th and 1, which resulted in the go ahead TD. As for Matt Forte, he's far from done... He had some great runs today that were due to his patience hitting the holes he found in the defense. He runs a lot like Marshall Faulk in that regard. He's still got a lot of tread left on those tires.

Quincy is getting his targets. Peake is the one that needs more opportunities.

Powell is doing well as a change of pace back. With his injury history I am not in a hurry to hand him the starting job when I have Matt Forte.

I kinda want more Powell...maybe he shouldn't get starting touches but he needs more touches....he did great today.

I agree with Enumwa, he's like Boldin, minus the sure hands and added speed.

Quincy will be fantastic once he leaves as a free agent and signs with a team willing to use him to his full potential.

I doubt it. He is the picture perfect prototype for Gailey's system. They even benched Kerley (who was much more promising at the time) for him. I don't see them letting him go unless he asks for crazy money.

It's time for a youth movement on O, actually it's way past the time for a youth movement on O but better late than never.

Absolutely. You can't understand underutilize a player for a fear of injury. Powell is so explosive. Forte is a 2 yard gain waiting to happen.

It's nice moving forward that we have young receiving threats moving forward. I'd like to see Peake get more run. I wonder if he's on the field as much as Anderson, because he should be as he seems to have much better hands and a bigger more physical frame. Anderson is a burner but he doesn't compete for the ball very well.

I think Byz is spot on with the Anquan Boldin comparison, only Enunwa might be slightly slower but much more physical in the open field.

It sure would be nice to see a young quarterback have opportunity to grow with these pieces. I think with all the potential here it's essential that we build up the offensive line and resist the urge to take our 8,000 first round defensive player in a row.

I think Quincy is an elite slot receiver.. Not saying he is a #3, but that is where he seems to play best.

Hopefully this off season he can focus on his development on the outside. I do want Decker to return next season and on the outside with Marshall.

There really is no place to Devon Smith at this point...

There were a lot of dropped passes today, a few bad throws too.
I'd like to see more of these 3 young guys (Enunwa Peake and Anderson) with a guy who can throw the ball down field with zip and accuracy. They all 3 need to make the tough catches if they want more playing time.

Powell has always been a solid contributer, they should get him in the game more. Are we saving him for the play-offs?

Anquan Boldin has glue for hands, Enunwa has a ways to go in that regard. I will say that QE does have sneaky explosive speed and some surprising wiggle. They should just throw him short passes and let him do the rest with his speed and strength.

I understand why people call him slow, don't agree with it but understand.

He doesn't have the top gear that Boldin did when he was younger. He's got a lot of quickness and his top gear is definitely not slow. Just not FAST.

I can live with that. He's a beast in so many other areas, and that makes up for it.

Totally broke my heart with that wide open drop in the second qtr, though.

Powell is a running back that is effecitve out of shotgun. Not so much for Forte.

This talent is the main reason why a few teams were shopping Powell in the off season.

Also reinforces just how shitty an arm Fitz has. Imagine a good arm running this mostly spread offense that Gailey is trying to maintain.

Forte is making the most out of some terrible running lanes though. He doesn't have the speed anymore, but his feet are pretty good and he finds 4-5-6yd carries out of nothing. I just think the days of Forte breaking 10-20+ yd carries are over. We also don't create the 2nd level blocking needed to spring him.

All that said, we are running the ball more and better than we were earlier in the season.
