I like it but don't like Schuster, and I don't think King or White will be there for us to draft in those spots. Maybe we could get 1 of them.

But how will we address FS, OL, ILB and OLB?

No way we trade Sheldon Richardson for only a 2nd rounder. They'd better cough up a 2nd rounder in the 2018 NFL Draft as well.

Why trade Richardson for only a 2nd to an AFC rival who is trending up? Don't like it.

Didn't you notice that Miller advocated taking a FS in the 7th round? ;) Seriously, maybe the UDFA who looked good in TC this year, Doug Middleton would be able to step up and play, or maybe the Jets sign a vet FA.

Miller left out some moves as well, which would give the Jets cap space - cutting Giacomini, Kellen Davis, and maybe trading B. Marshall.

I can't see Miller's draft happening at all. To begin with, I'd be shocked beyond words if the Jets used their top two picks on offensive playmakers. I'd also be shocked if they took a RB in the 1st round. Taking two CBs would be a little much imo. Burris should be ready to play next season, Williams looks to be improving a little and Roberts has been decent in spots. With cap space, I would imagine Mac would sign a vet FA CB, so I can't see the Jets taking more than one CB.

I also think Mac HAS to take an OT, preferably an LT, but at least a RT. Then, as you mentioned, there's the pass rushing OLB spot and ILB. I can't see Harris starting again next season. He's just too slow and limited and the Jets could get too much cap space by releasing him, with which they could sign a younger, faster, cheaper player.

Two second rounders? Watch us fuck up twice in one round. Can't wait.

Spoken like a long-term, true Jets fan.

Fournette/King would not be a bad set of picks in the 1st/2nd, but I'd pick King far over Smith-Schuster. I'm wary of USC wideouts and we already have a decent pipeline of young WRs. I'd look for another DB prospect (yes, our secondary needs the help that badly) or a solid interior OL if we got another pick in the 2nd round.

What is the obsession with trading good players to the Raiders? They are already beastly as it is and it makes the AFC road that much harder

Yeah fuck the offensive line to hell. I highly doubt Smith-Schuster and King will be there in those spots as they're both being discussed as first round picks. It's a weak tackle draft but damn we sure as hell need one somewhere in there. I'd also love the idea of finding a future center in the mid-rounds.

Brilliant! Pick a fuckin RB in round 1 and continue on without a QB for another 5 years..of course we aren't good enough (bad enouch) to get the number 5 pick to begin with..more like 10-15 is where we will be.

Forrest Lamp handled Alabama's edge rushers damn well. I'm surprised he's not being talked about.
