That's a real glass half full prediction you have there. The rich save millions, and the lower income families save enough for a month or 2 of groceries. While that is important, it's not going to be this amazing cash cow. That growth potential you wrote is also way more than anything I have read or seen. I live a good life, and my fiance and I make enough money to where we can pay, save, and go on trips once or twice a year. But no where close to 250k, and I don't feel bad about those people who make that much having to pay more. If the "suburban middle class" is a class that the majority make more than 250k yearly, I am sorely mistaken on what middle class is.
They updated the poll. 6 point lead for Hillary, and again randomly ended up with 7 percent (down from 9 then 8) more D's than R's being polled.
Oh i know and those economists (moodys in particular) are mostly in the proverbial democratic bag on some way, shape or form, of course those folks will support these things and will show u fancy data to support their claims........we currently are in an 8 year study on how higher subsets of taxes (on certain classes) can be a major headwind in a post recession/shock economy. Folks bring up the Clinton era in the 90's with tax, interest rates being higher and such - its a poor comparison to the current environment, especially with post recession shift in demand, jobs, impacts of obamacare, and debt. Forget the political issues, given the current backdrop of household/consumer debt, education and insurance costs, stagnant wages, etc........clintons economic plan is going to be the back breaker and no doubt we will have nnegative growth data in a short time.
3-4% is attainable, no doubt, in a backdrop of mostly lower taxes and measured rate increase......and yes, the suburban middle class is in the 75/80 to 300/350 area. I am strictly looking at the tristate area in the NE but i am sure u can include other populous areas in texas, california, mass, etc etc. Of course those numbers can be subcategorized further. But we have to remember that these gov't and media created artificial numbers are just that, numbers.......everyones situation is different.......u know the blue collar verizon worker may pull in 55-60k per year BUT........he makes good overtime pay, decent benefits, pension, etc etc. So total compensation puts him/her nicely into the middle class. Now get ready for this......and this is the truth......i know a couple young family practice physicians, 10 or so years experience, trying to support a practice. Now the public thinks that all physicians have it made and can afford anything. Well some can (just like lawyers and other execs) but we are seeing a marked increase in docs that fall into blue collar type financials (and thats not to criticize those good folks). Getting back to the point, they could not sustain the practice. Why?? Overhead costs, practice and personal insurance costs, student loans, etc. Each grossed less than 100k the last 2 years. They have/had no overtime pay, average benefits at best, and will have no employer provided pension. Forget the student loan debt attached as well. Its not an unusual scenario in suburbia and both of these folks would benefit greatly from lower taxes, less regulation (especially the docs in practice - not medical regultion but practice related stuff like EMR's, coding, etc) We desperately need embedded stimulus and not the central bank stuff, and clinton is not going to provide that.
Closing the southern border and throwing out 10 to 15 million people will destroy the economy. Ending our trade agreements and starting a trade war will create hyper inflation and be a huge job killer destroying our economy. Tax cuts with a reduction of deductions will be good for our economy. Continuing war and nuclear proliferation is a disaster for the entire world.
Hillary Clinton has never seen a conflict she didn't want to get involved with and thinks she's going to setup a no-fly zone in Syria. She's going to start a war with Russia.
They are both clearly war mongers. I have no doubt either one of them will continue our policy of unending war and destruction. However, Hillary Clinton rage is at least under control. Donald Trumps isn't. He is way more dangerous to the survival of the species.
Hillary Clinton Tells Black Radio Host That Rappers Have Influenced Her I guess we should expect her to start wearing gold chains soon and get a few tats....
Absolutely. Bomb the shit out of them Trump. Tear up the nuclear agreement with Iran. Tear up trade agreements, military alliances. He's clearly a war monger.
Only one of those is an act of war and isis has already declared war on us, so it's justified. Trump isn't the one who talked about bombing Iran.
Wouldn't Trump make the most sense though? I mean, look around the world. Most nations are led by cartoonish dictators and clueless buffoons, and he'd check both of those boxes. It would be such an awesome end of the world.
So Tump is just going to tear up the agreement and let Iran get nukes on a quicker timeline. Sounds like a good long term plan. Bomb the shit of them. We created ISIS as part of the Sunni awakening. Another dumb ass policy of the Republicans.
Isis was created when we pulled out of territory we controlled before we should have. We never should have been in the war in the first place but once you go in and remove a government you have to finish the job. It wasn't the republicans who pulled out early. I believe the idea behind ripping up the agreement would be to renegotiate a better deal, but maybe I'm wrong on that. Hillary didn't mince words on what she'd do if they violated the agreement, she'd bomb them, so we know.
The Bush administration removed the Iraq government and was running the country that allowed al-Malikii to become Prime Minister in 2006. The Bush administration negotiated the withdrawal including the dates before Obama became President. The Bush administration armed and trained Sunni's as part of a counter offensive against Al Qaeda and it's clear many of the Sunni's we armed and trained became part of ISIS. The Bush administration had already established a pro-Iranian government that wanted us out well before Obama became President. They also armed and trained Sunni's who hate the government. Shit happens.
And the Obama administration ignored all advice from it's generals telling them all hell would break loose if they didn't stay. Regardless of what was negotiated, it could have been renegotiated if the political will was there. Obama ran his campaign on getting out of Iraq and instead of doing what was the right thing for the world, he did what was the right thing for the 2012 election. Shit happens.
