I don't think he will. He has already stated he's excited to get back in the car for the 2017 Daytona 500. I think it's fair to say he won't race many more seasons though.

What was so bad? Sitting back at a plate race is just strategy. Those races just aren't too exciting imo.
They didn't even try to win, they were 300 yards behind the pack the whole race, pretty weak, they were content with 28,29,30th place
Eh. It's strategy. They performed well enough to have that luxery. It's kind of funny that they were basically trolling the chase rules though no?
As much as I like the way some drivers are just addicted to races, this will make Xfinity and CWTS a bit more interesting. I'm tired of constantly seeing the top points racers in 7th and 8th place in most races. Let the minor league be the minor league.
The rules may suck but the smart teams are saving parts and strategy for when it matters. Don't hate the driver, hate NASCAR. They decided what the rules are.
