It's not like Winston, Marriota, or Prescott played in their rookie seasons.

    Oh, wait a minute.

No way dude, Hackenburg needs at least 15 years to learn from the bench.

Prescott was a four-year starter in college. Mariota and Winston were the #1 and #2 overall picks. Little different than a second rounder most people figured was overdrafted and struggled his last two years in college.

If you're going to play Hackenberg over Petty then Petty shouldn't be on the roster.

I'm not a Geno fan but I did enjoy watching a QB with a decent arm after a season+ of Fitz... I'm done with fitz. Season is shot, bottom 3-4 in AFC.. Just let the kids play

Yeah Bowles is begging the two to let him continue with Fitz because he hates young players and thinks Fitz will get us into the playoffs this season.

I feel bad for Geno. I guess bad luck continues for him.

Wow... Geno is snakebit as long as he stays in NY. As this was his last game as a Jet, I wish the kid well, but I hope he gets the fck outta NY soon as he can. Sometimes, a location just isn't a good fit and karma has a funny way of letting you know that..

Good Luck Geno! Do yourself a favor and get outta here ASAP.

None of those guys had major flaws in their fundamentals that needed to be corrected. None of those guys was shell-shocked from playing behind an awful OL, with a doofus for a HC, and no weapons around him, either. Get a clue. People aren't all the same, they don't develop or learn at the same speed, and have different issues. Mariota and Winston were ranked at the top of their draft class. Only Prescott was ranked as low or lower than Hack. I saw Prescott play several times in college and was never impressed with him. None of the draft guides, and obviously none of the scouts of NFL teams had him ranked very highly, either. He has been a total surprise, if not a fluke.

    Epic fail on your part.

3 of those incompletions were dropped passes that should have been caught, but I suspect you know that. It just didn't fit your agenda.

    That escalated quickly.
I truly am baffled by this.

Torn Achilles = slightly easier to diagnose than a torn ACL. Close though.

Geez, Geno has the worst luck.
He's that guy, that when you go out on a Saturday night for a few beers, something he does screws up the whole night.

As originally posted - "(though 2 incompletions were on the receiver and would've netted another 27 yards)"

1st Incompletion was low and behind BM
2nd Incompletion was a straight drop by Peake
3rd Incompletion was to Enunwa but was well defended
4th Incompletion was his longest actual throw of the night to BM which again was a straight drop.

......and really my 'agenda' was that Geno's ball handling/protection is still shockingly poor as is his awareness of pressure.

In fairness to the lad - He didn't seem as skittish with his footwork on dropbacks and I was actually (Aside from the 'agenda item') thinking that he was showing a bit of promise but I wouldn't rank his showing good, awesome nor tragic and full of suck - It was ok but ultimatly not informative and didn't really give us (the Jets) anything to work with as now he's sadly done for the season/rest of his contract.

Why do I feel like every Jets fan is having their own personal Godfather III moment with the news that we are stuck with Fitz?

Okay everyone, with me (doing your best Al Pacino impression):

"Every time I think he's gone, they put him back in!"
