I thought Geno was playing solid before his injury yesterday too. Wasn't taking too many risks and had pretty good accuracy on his passes. What I would do now: Start Fitzpatrick until loss #7. Then move to Bryce Petty. Also, once that 7th loss occurs, I would deactivate Fitz. Go with Petty and Hack. Allow both to learn.
You don't want the starting quarterback of the New York Jets to set foot in the locker room again? I think we all know where your coming from.
I never wanted the guy, he was a bum in college, and he set the jets back years. I hate him, and I love to hate him. HE was a spoiled & entitled ass who never appreciated the game. I would not piss on Geno if he was on fire. He can go back to Morgantown / South Florida and steal hubcaps.
I never like to see a player get hurt. That being said, this benefits the Jets. One of two QB's that was never going to be here next year anyway is now out of the picture. Petty moves up, gets more reps and probably sees playing time in the near future.
This is just too bizarre Too bad for G Smith but not lots of love from the fans dealing with his mental errors poor play on the field and off Hope he finds a new career That said The timetable is moved up for the 2 kid QBs despite Fitz in there
lol right... because being the all-time best QB from a college made u a bum in college... yeah he sure did set the jets back by qb'ing the worst offense of the 2000's ... you sure it wasn't the other way around? You hate him because..... he banged your girl or something? Spoiled how? by who? ... and never appreciated the game?...if he didn't I'm sure he would've quit a long time ago thanks to people that bash him unnecessarily as you are doing right now. You need some guidance my friend... sorry Geno hurt your feelings so bad. Drink some milk.
What happened with Geno is terrible even though I'm not a fan of his play on the field. After what Fitz said I'd sit his ass back down and let Petty give it a go against Browns "if" he's healthy. The positive is he plays well, gains experience for game speed and they win. The downside is he's not ready for the speed of the game, doesn't play well and they get beat by an 0-7 team moving them 1 game away from a top pick in the draft. Keep playing Petty to get him experience and let him take his lumps. At least they'll have a basis for an informed decision for 2017 instead of trying to project pre-season play against scrubs into what he'd do against starters. That's a win-win in my book. F*ck Shitzpatrick !
Wow. Someone offers a legitimate criticism of a failed NFL quarterback and your response is "did he bang your girlfriend or something? Talk about an immature reply. The liberal brainwashing has you twisted in a bunch. Any more excuses you can offer for the bust from WVU? Is he your boyfriend?
Petty. Its pretty much a no brainer. They're 2 and 5. They are likely out of the playoffs (and even if they make the playoffs with their weak remaining schedule, they'd just lost in the first round with Fitz anyway). Also, Fitz even when he's good is not consistent enough to go 8 and 1 over the remaining games. Fitz is not the future here. Petty and Hack are. Play them, let them get experience and get their lumps now.
