Too bad for Geno, wonder what recupperation time is for the torn ACL? 1 year? Wonder if Joe Willie feels bad for questioning him when doctors held him out of the second half?
This dude is just one calamity after the next. Despite his overall mediocre play, you have to feel bad for the guy. But feel worse for us fans, we are getting Fitz probably through week 14 or 15. Don't kid yourselves, there is nothing to suggest that Bowles feels Comfortable playing Petty and I don't even think he considers doing it until we take our 8th or 9th loss, which could be a while given upcoming schedule
Another Jets QB flushed down the shitter. I can't understand why anyone would feel joy over this. This damn franchise just can't catch a break.
I didn't see a QB with a torn ACL yesterday but that's just me I guess. I know you can still walk and stuff on a torn ACL in some cases but he seemed a little to eager to get back in and play yesterday for a guy with a torn ACL... He barely even had a limp and said he was fine... I thought sprained knee for sure but I'm not doctor obviously. He's getting a second opinion on it and I hope he'll be okay... Weird that the Jets reportedly "believed" he was fine this morning now they reportedly "believe" he has a torn ACL... if the change of heart was due to the MRI then what's the "believe" for .. it either is or it isn't.. I'd hate to ever hear this was a shady act just to move on to another QB...but it is what it is at this point. I feel bad for Geno. -- some of you people celebrating this really need to re-evaluate life. It's not that deep and the hate in your heart should never run that deep over a sport, or at least a player on YOUR sports team.
So they bench Fitz for Geno then give a false diagnosis to get rid of Geno? Solid theory...but they fired Elliot Pellman a while ago.
Drunk uncle Joe at it again. Embarrassing the family, sticking his dick in the mashed potatoes. What a relic.
R.I.P. to Geno's Jets career. Many tough breaks but I think he'll catch on elsewhere as a useful backup with spot starter potential. Taking a spread QB out of college and asking him to start right away is never an easy task especially with the poor talent we had around him in the 2013 and 2014 seasons. Good luck Geno but it's clear he'll never be the guy here time for all parties to move on.
I told my kid yesterday that Geno wouldn't make it to halftime before getting injured. I thought I was just being funny. Now, Fitz has the luck o' the Irish on his side.
I hope Geno Smith never sets foot in the Florham Park facility again. Such a negative source of energy since the day he was drafted. Such a bad person.
