It's now obvious that Champ hasn't seen a movie since they went to color. The "Wizard of Oz" just blew his mind.
Thought about giving you a like for the Monty Python reference, but decided against it. Nice try mate
If Fitz gets the start we will need a lot of luck to win in Cleveland next week. Petty needs to get some snaps in practice this week.
Miami is gonna run all over us they found a gem with Jay Agaiy who has ran for 200 plus yards in back to back games.I spelt his last name wrong
I do not think there is a chance we go 3-0 in the next three. Most likely 1-2, but I can see 2-1. I think we are going to be the 1 win for Cleveland this year, get trashed by Miami and beat LA.
Play Geno until the bye and then go to Petty. It's really not that complicated people. For the love of god no more Fitz ever.
To speak to the thread's title, yes, this season is dead. Even with an unlikely win today, we're 2-5, and would need to win 8 of the remaining 9 games to have a realistic shot at the playoffs. Not happening. All that's happened here is we've put off the chance to get Geno and Petty the playing time necessary to evaluate their status with the organization moving forward. Now that we've won, and done so with Fitztragic, we're probably back to watching his noodle arm attempt to lead us to more meaningless victories in the coming weeks.
Our O-Line snd running game combined with our defense won todays game. I'm good with continuing with Geno as starter and Fitz backing him up. Got to get to 5-5 to stay alive!
There is truth in this. The specific way this game played out has the potential to be harmful to this team's future. And the value of the win at 2-5 is virtually nil
The Jets will always be good enough to give us hope, and bad enough to ultimately crush that hope. This has all happened before, and it will all happen again.
Geno got us the win. Fitz just sat on the lead and bled out the clock. If he started the game we would have lost.
