Normally I'm a don't quit type of guy when it comes to football but let's be honest, this team shows no heart, no fire and there just confused... Worse display of execution probably in my time of watching this team. I don't see a come back happening but of course I would love to see it. Just gotta be realistic.
5 of the first 6 teams we played made the playoffs last year, none of our next 4 opponents won more than 7 games. Who knows, maybe a QB change and soft schedule sparks the team. Schedule disparity is the biggest reason the Chiefs went from 1-5 to 11-5 last year. Right now, I'm rooting for us to get to 5-5 at the bye and from there who knows what's possible. If we lose before the bye, it's onto 2017 for me. I know virtually all of you are already at that point.
KC did show fight and desire in their horrible start last year and weren't getting abused like we are. If any team is capable of performing a lazarus like charge this year - my money is on the Chargers.
