Speaking of Carpenter.. ..perhaps someone can explain this to me He got injured right before halftime Monday night after an incomplete pass. And they still made us use a timeout???? They need to change that BS rule. I can see it to avoid people faking injuries to stop the clock, but the clock was already stopped for the incomplete pass!!

Quincy Enunwa, Marshall even though he seems to drop a pass every game, Williams, Sheldon Richardson plays with a ton of heart, outside of those few no one else really calls out to me
You guys are sleeping on Marcus Williams I think he's having a solid year.. Bowles needs to keep him on the outside.. especially after Monday. Bowles also needs to stop putting our outside corners on an island... they aren't speedy but physical... allow them to jam and give them safety help... more cover 2 and cover 3. Willams has only gotten burned once... has a few picks already... just a very sound corner. love having him hope TB lets him shine a bit more. Marcus must work on his tackling though.
I'd like to see some of the other safeties on the roster get a look-see on the back end. You can cover up what the Jets don't have at corner by playing 2/3 deep...but the back end has gotta be there & right now they are a disaster.Pryor is undisciplined & Gilchrist lacks closing ability...very badly.Miles is basically a special teamer/situational..he's too undisciplined & stiff for a full time role. Antonio Allen has started playing more..we will see how that plays out. Both Doug Middleton & Ronald Martin deserve a chance as both had their moments in camp.a disciplined deep field would go a long long way. Pryor & Gilchrist can both be used very effectively in match-up/hybrid roles. Hell we've already got Sheldon playing linebacker...might as well use what you have.Neither are going anywhere

Agreed. Gilchrist is likely to be cut if he doesn't SIGNIFICANTLY renegotiate his $6 million # next year, --- and I'd rather we look elsewhere completely. Change doesn't necessarily come from the QB position only.
