It would be very jetsian to pick Fournette if we are picking in the top 3 and passing over a qb. Not to say Fournette isn't a good rb and should beast in the pro's but what a disappointment that would be.
sounds like Revis is ready to go lol. that hamstring felt much better when he realized he didn't have to cover Antonio Brown. hopefully that number 27 kid isn't hurt from last week. He might suck but he showed more fight last week than we've seen all year from someone in the secondary. It was almost like he really didn't want to play bad. wow, novel concept. EDIT: darryl roberts is his name. He had 2 "passes defensed" last sunday. That's 2 more than Darrelle Revis and Calvin Pryor combined. seriously fact
Fournette is probably going to be a gigantic NFL bust. So, yes, he would be the perfect Jets draft pick. Guy isn't even having a good college season this year.
THIS times 10000 the few games I saw of LSU this year he was meh NO WAY in HELL will he succeed in the NFL
@tomdeb funny I predicted last weeks game 34 -13 I was close I'm torn this week as I think we could and should win but in typical Jet fashion we blow it I'll go for a 31 - 21 Arizona win
This doesn't really have anything to do with the Cards game but I just saw that Bryce Petty finally started practicing this week.
Yep.. and that couldn't have happened at a better time too..If Petty actually gets reps with the starters, that would be a giant indicator of things to come.
Todd is still trying to figure out when to use timeouts, it'll be a while before he figures out when to bench Fitz.
It's just a lose all credibility statement. The level of cover up necessary to have someone sit out with a fake injury is so great that it is laughable to even consider. It even gets out when a player says they can't play, and the team says they can (Gronk with his knee/hammy a few years ago as an example).
We will win this game. 20-17. Every time we lose I win in fantasy. Every time we win I lose in fantasy. I lost this week. Therefore, the Jets will win tomorrow.
The Cardinals are missing both starting guards and Shipley sucks at center. If you can get a push up the middle Palmer is in trouble. The Cardinals haven't scored in the first quarter this year. After the long layoff you're going to know pretty quickly if this is a game or you're going to get blown out. I've seen Arians fix things during the bye that looked unfixable. 11 days is enough time to fix a few things. You will know by the second Cardinal possession if you have a shot. The stadium is small and unbelievably loud. Fitz is going to have to move or get killed. The Cardinals D can get torched but they also force turnovers. Don't think because you can drive on their D that they don't have a good one that can turn the game around on you very fast. Good luck tonight.
If the Jets win tonight I can see them clawing to 5-5 at the bye given the opponents (5-5 is exactly where they were last year) and then they have 2 weeks to prepare for a home primetime game against NE. Oh man would that be fun. Then right after that they have another home primetime game against the Colts, @ SF and another home primetime game against the Dolphins. The season is over if they lose tonight, but I think it could get very fun if they win.
