For some reason I think we'll show up...look good and have hope...

I mean c'mon... they have to start setting us up for another let down at the end of the year right?

I think we lose but beat the Ravens and Browns.

I'm just hoping we actually do something in the second half and keep this game close. No turnovers and no fuck-ups should keep us in it.

Arizona is overrated, and so is Palmer.

So Jets claim Butler, does that mean Decker is done?

I can't see us covering these WR s, even the RB s out of the backfield will kill us,,,,,I can't tell u who the Cards TE's are I think they have Gresham but something tells me that in 6 days we will all know who they are as the Jets can't cover any TE s..This game smells like a national tv blowout I don't care how bad Palmer has looked have you seen our defense ?

The Cards rarely use their TE's to actually catch the ball. Gresham is underused. They would rather use Johnson out of the backfield then use the TE. The Cardinals are a down the field to the WR passing team. The problem is Palmer takes forever to set up and their blocking up the middle sucks. Palmer has been afraid to step up leaving his passes short and opening himself up to pressure from the edge. If they don't fix it, it might play into the Jets hands on D. Cardinals have lots of talent and lots to fix on O right now.

There is nothing on either side of the ball that gives me any confidence that the Jets will win this game. Throw in the complete boneheaded 'coaching' from one Todd Bowles and KC and The Sunshine Band calling defensive plays and it all spells hilarity on national TV...

Biggs luckily for the Cards here is just what the doctor ordered,,,,The Jets defense.
I expect both Browns and even Floyd who has been invisible to show up this week,,,never mind Fitzgerald,,,,,also I understand they usually don't use the TE but I expect the TE to show up this week for them,,,,,,heck if I were a coach and my coming opponent had difficulty covering TEs or RB s I would utilize them,,,,,,and I think the RB s will give us fits out of the backfield as we cant cover them either ....

Brown got a terrible concussion before the season and has just started playing well the last couple of weeks. He is becoming a factor. Floyd can't seem to catch the football. He has been a drive killer and might be benched. David Johnson out of the backfield is a beast. The guy is big, fast and has amazing moves. I can see them getting the ball to him in space all day. I don't know why but the TE position isn't utilized. One or two catches and they disappear. With the long layoff maybe they change it up?

Arizona has had a lot of trouble covering the TE and they can't seem to cover anyone out of the slot. Peterson is still very good on covering the No. 1 WR but everything else is pretty open. They are starting to get a good rush. I'm not sure if Rucker is back against the Jets if he is the run D will be stout. If not you can run up the middle on the Cardinals D.

I see this as a real toss up game. The Stadium is really loud when the opposition is on O. It's a small stadium that's all concrete and domed. It can get amazingly loud. Lots of false starts.

I see the Jets keeping it close just to force all of us to watch the entire game
even though we have to get up early on Tuesday (my alarm goes off at 4:30 AM)
and blowing it (big play) in the final seconds.

That would be a typical Jets move. ;)

C'mon guys. Think of this game as an interesting problem to solve, and we'll see how well Bowles can do
at solving it. Other coaches have managed to have success despite major injuries in Minnesota, Dallas and NE,
so let's see what Bowles can cook up without Decker.

I just want to see some competitive football moving forward like the first half against the Steelers. I recorded it and watching the game it looks like the defensive lineman were giving up on plays, including the $80+ million dollar man in Mo Wilk. Very discouraging.
