All those teams are circling the Jets game as a win too, not to mention we are clear underdogs this week in Arizona. Best case scenario is probably 3-2 in this stretch, which doesn't get us much except worse draft positioning next April

Agreed. When he got hurt, we were told that it was a bruise and it was minor. Now all this time has passed and he's still unable to practice. What's going on there? Why wasn't he put on IR if he's that injured. And what's the actual injury? I'm not liking how this is being handled.

I just read an article about it. Petty is throwing every practice. Just not in team drills. Apparently they want Hack to get more reps.

That reasoning could be speculation. Hasn't been confirmed. That's just what the article said.

They basically IR'd him without actually IR'ing him.

So we have #2 Geno who can't get a look in after our starter has a 9 pick brace of games.
#3 Petty who is either very hurt or passed over to accelerate Hack.
#4 Hack who has the mechanics of a sub-par Tebow.

    Good grief!

You're absolutely nuts if you think this team will even win in the next 2 weeks. This team is so underachieving and hapless, they might as well not even show up. What grieves me the most is I have to work on Tuesday. I am going to have to sign out a leave slip and possibly miss Tuesday because I'll be too tired from watching the Jets game the night before. I'll be watching them in a game where they get their asses handed to them. The least I could possibly ask for when I take leave it's so I can watch the Jets win. Nope, this team will not win again until they face the Brownies. They simply aren't good enough to beat Arizona or Baltimore. You're only looking at a maximum 5 or 6 win season. This team sucks and is headed for more internal strife and rebuilding.

I'm wearing a long sleeve Green shirt under my Johnson Red Arizona Cardinals shirt. Looking forward to this game. Arizona has fixed it's special teams. Both starting guards are hurt and likely out. Tyron looked much better against SF. He is the key to AZ D. If he is finally recovered I think AZ D will prevail. Jets front is scary, look for Johnson out of the backfield to destroy the Jets on releases out of the backfield. The man is a beast. Palmer is likely still on queer street and may not play. He basically sucks since Shipley has become our full time center. Palmer is afraid to step up in the pocket and looks very shaky. Brown and Fitz are a load right now. Floyd has been atrocious. Watch out for JJ Nelson if he gets reps because of the Floyd suck factor.

If you don't stand for the anthem in our stadium you will get your ass kicked. This is Pat Tillman country.

Yeah I don't see any of that happening. Maybe a win against Cleveland. But even then, Pryor will beat Marcus Williams deep.

They're gonna fast track Hackenberg at Petty's expense. Mac making sure his guy gets every opportunity. The Jets will NEVER have an honest Qb competition which is probably why they'll never have a franchise Qb.

I hope we lose every game going into the bye. Let Petty take over then, see what he can do. He either shows promise for 17 or he's a career back up. Then Hack is on the fast track. I would like to see Hack start week 16 and 17.

Mac's fingerprints are all over this situation. From Fitz's contract (which is why Geno won't play), to Geno and Petty not getting any playing time on down to Hackenberg getting fast tracked. New Boss putting HIS stamp on the organization. Happens all the time.

"Everyone reacts differently," Marshall said. "Some guys are sad over the loss, some guys are pissed off, some guys may even be ready to give up, but we have the right guys with this type of energy, this type of outlook that will get it turned around."

Marshall said he expects the Jets "to get killed in the streets and killed in the media" because of the disappointing start, but he believes the adversity will strengthen their resolve.

"Failure speeds up the growth process," he said. "That's what I'm excited about. We've had a lot of failure these first five games and we're growing rapidly because we have no choice."

I'm excited too. Can't wait to see how the team responds on Monday night.

Funny......this is not totally inconceivable and that comes from someone who fully expected a 5-11/6-10 thumper.......

More than likely we win 3 of those and finish the season in purgatory at 6-10 which will likely frustrate even more fans than if we finished 3-13.

    Because its the jets.

If this is true, then this team is screwed.
